Every time I go to this pharmacy I leave angry. So so rude the pharmacist and the dark skin assistant stand and talk about social media when their are people waiting 60 min for them to put a sticker on a pill bottle. horrible humans seriously talk down to people. No empathy or compassion at all and I wonder if they dont know or dont care that people can hear what they say. Lawtons will be like everything else in brunswick square closed. Rightfully so.

LESS than one star ! With a We-could-care-LESS-attitude". After thoroughly ( I PRESUMED ) watching staff interacting with clients/customers

Always friendly, helpful staff. Pharmacy staff very knowledgeable and ready to serve. There is also a post office which is very convenient. In my opinion, they have outgrown their space and would benefit greatly by an expansion, but that would be my only suggestion for improvement.

I understand that this location is uptown and has a higher likelihood of theft. However every time I've been in this location if I have a purse or bag of any size I've been followed like I'm going to steal something. Almost every time. I've worked retail over 15 years. I know what they are supposed to look for. I'm always made extremely uncomfortable anytime I shop there. I will only shop there if I have no choice. I do not recommend shopping at this location.

After returning from being out of the country I was short on 1 of my 5 regular medications, I called the recorded message line at 10 a.m. to renew 1 expired medication for 1 week until my Doctor appointment on Tuesday coming and asked if they could call me if there was a problem with doing that. That same day my husband dropped off a new med prescription at 11 a.m. We went there at 3 p.m and neither prescription was filled. The pharmacist, Carrie, said oh, she took my call and forgot" it. She said my husbands prescription was not done yet (after having it for 4 hours). She at that point told me that there was a $10.00 fee for the pharmacy to write a prescription. I advised her that I called at 10 a.m and asked them to call if there was a problem with them filling a 1 week renewal till I got to the Doctor but hadn't heard anything from them. Again

Paid with a U.S $20.00 bill and was refused U.S change. If you take U.S currency, you should give it in change. What would I do with Canadian money back home in Ny. Then the cashier refused to take the items back and give me my money back.

I find this store rather complicated. Great pharmacy; however incredibly difficult at the front. Either Lawtons needs to train cashiers better or understand their policy. If a price is posted on an item then that is what the price is. It isn’t the customer’s fault that someone at Lawtons failed to do their job properly and not remove an expired price. I experienced a situation today that could have been avoided. I went to the cash with items and was expecting to pay the advertised price located next to the items. The cashier goes and gets the sticker and speaks with her supervisor. The supervisor tells the cashier it is regular price. Next to the cash there is a sign says the customer receives the item free if there is an incorrect price. The woman behind me (customer) mentioned to the cashier I should get the item for free as per the sign and policy. The cashier just didn’t understand her store policy and the supervisor was as bright as a burnt lightbulb. I was not looking for a free item, I was looking to pay the price advertised in store. I became frustrated and left. I will avoid this location at all times due to the inconsistency and unprofessionalism.

The employees of this store are RACIST. Period. If it happens once I would let it slide but it happens every single time I go there and I would not go there at all if there was another in walking distance from my house. They are very racist and they have no clue what customer service is. Two people in particular I would like to mention are the person named Abby who is in cash mostly and the girl named Mackenzie in pharmacy. Their attitude and tone change completely when they see a person of colour. Both of them are downright racist and the other employees also got no clue about customer service. On rare occasions you see one nice employee but that is rare. I do not recommend going to this store if you have any other option.

Pharmacist thought it was a better idea to lecture me about not having any refills left on my rescue inhalers, while I was having an asthma attack. She let me hyperventilate and gasp for breath while she was smugly telling me something I already knew, and told her I already knew. Still took them 10 min to pull an inhaler out of a box and hand it to me, while I was seriously considering calling 911 to have an ambulance bring me an inhaler. A simply stunning lack of awareness and compassion. Never going there again. If I could give 0 stars, I would, but 1 is the minimum.
