I recently went in for an overnight sleep study at this clinic after a consultation with one of the sleep specialists, Dr. Subramanian.Consultation call - I had a zoom call with Dr. Subramanian and he was kind and caring. He explained the general process and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed. Appointment was right on time.Overnight sleep study: This was done at the physical lab. The lab is located on the 2nd floor and there's ample parking outside. The technicians were kind and helpful. Navdeep was my technician and she explained everything that I needed to expect during my stay in the beginning of the night. She was very kind.Keep in mind that although you are to show up at 8:30pm, it will take time for the technicians to check you in and set you up with all the wires (there are many and it takes awhile). The technicians have multiple patients. So you may not be seen for 1.5-2 hours. Bring a book or something to do.The rooms are controlled by central air so the temp can be controlled by fans in the room or extra blankets that the techs offer if you need. The facility was clean, including the washrooms. In terms of noise, you can also ask for ear plugs, which was helpful for me to sleep.Yes, the wires are weird and uncomfortable compared to how you normally sleep at night but overall the experience isn't bad at all. Don't expect a hotel quality relaxation and stay - you are going for a medical appt!In the morning, the glue/goo that is applied to keep wires in place on your head and body can be easily washed off with warm water.I was up by 5:30 a.m and out the door by 6 a.m.If it helps others like it did for me, I would suggest watching some videos of sleep studies on YT - it will help you to understand what to expect on your appointment, particularly around the set up of all the wires and such.

This is a great company with great doctors - until it's time for a follow up. At my 1 year follow up, they canceled my appointment and told me that I have to get a new referral before every single appointment and that they will not see any patients for follow ups. DO NOT BOTHER GOING TO THESE DOCTORS AS THEY WILL NOT BE WITH YOU LONG TERM!!!!

I was recently diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and found an equipment provider that stocks machines capable of matching my prescribed air pressures. Unfortunately, I can't purchase one because my sleep doctor only likes a 'particular brand.' When I asked around, every company I've been in contact with says this brand (Resmed) has a waiting list that extends for 2-3 months. So now I'm stuck needlessly waiting for a machine while I struggle every night to breathe. Either that, or I forget about the provincial subsidy I'm entitled to and buy another brand of device available right now. Avoid this clinic at all costs!!!! I'll definitely be looking for a 2nd opinion.

Just completed my 2nd Sleep Study at Tri-Hospital Hurontario. This bedding and mattress were clean. The staff were professional. The location was easy to access, and there's lots of parking.I had Farid do my setup both times. He was polite and professional. He explained the process clearly and answered any questions I had. Even when I woke up at 3am to use the bathroom, he was there quickly to unplug me and let me go.The 1st time you go it may be uncomfortable with all the wires and connectors and equipment. It's a lot to process if you've never done this before. But you quickly get used it and find ways to get comfortable as the night goes by. This is a medical study, not an all-inclusive resort vacation.Follow the instructions carefully before you arrive. Bring the bare minimum to ensure you don't leave anything behind. Health Card, Slippers, toothbrush, bottle water, list of medications. You'll do a bit of waiting as the staff set up the other patients but you'll get your turn. Bring a book or phone to pass time.ProTip: The 'glue' that keeps the connectors connected to your skin can be easily removed with a little warm water. I used the paper towels in the washroom with hot tap water to wipe them all off in the morning with little trouble. You can bring a small washcloth if that helps with the clean-up in the morning.I'm thankful to have gone through this process at Tri-Hospital. It has helped me get a better nights sleep after years of suffering.

It seems that the people working in this location don’t have any experience and they’re using the cheapest equipment/material for this sleeping procedure. I had an appointment with them and noticed that all the wires connected to you which is connected to a device that transfers the signals to their station. This device was rusted and the connector was rusted and all wired looked there like 20 years old or more!!!! Have no idea how they’re using this till now PLUS after I went home, I found that all my face where they put the stickers to hold the wires on your face is fully red like my skin get burned which can only be a a result from using not proper Gel on your skin or the stickers/tapes they use to hold the connection are not the right one!!! This is ridiculous, I felt honestly it’s worth than 3rd world country!!!Would never recommend this place at all!!!

It seems to me that the doctor of this clinic is running a bit of a scam. She will not let you book a follow-up appointment within the year because after a year she can require you to get a a new referral from your doctor. If she gets a new referral she gets a fair bit more money for seeing a new" patient. To me that is like stealing money from an already impoverished Healthcare system. I can't say the care was bad

I can only speak to the overnight sleep study portion of the clinic, which is clean, comfortable, and professionally staffed. Unfortunately, no showering allowed. Free underground parking, though. It’s a little confusing when you first get there, since the lab occupies several rooms on both sides of the hallway. There is no official reception desk, but lots of paper signs that try and steer you in the right direction.

Understaffed and disorganized clinic! I arrived at 8:30PM as instructed and has been waiting for 2 hours (it’s 11pm now) without any instructions from the staff.

Customer service is horrible. They refused to provide me with the passcode for my zoom apointment. And then expected me to waist my day waiting to find out if the docter would call me back for my apointment. Placed me on hold and just didnt come back to tell me if the docter would be calling or not. Completely 100% unprofessional and rude. Absolutely no care or respect for their patients at all. The doctor himself seems very nice though and was apologetic for his staff.

Came here for a sleep study and found the staff very professional and friendly. They made sure that I had knowledge of how the sleep study is conducted. As a full disclosure, you will be sleeping with some 20 sensors connected to your head, chest, belly and legs as well as a pulse meter connected to your finger. Its not exactly going to be the same confortable environment as your home and changing sleeping positions will be a challenge as there will be wires running alongside your body. Still, the staff did what they could to make the experience good.
