We love Dr. Maude Touret. She is compassionate, explains everything in detail, spends lots of time with us answering all our questions and options, and is so very knowledgeable. She sent us a full report, and answers our questions via e-mails promptly. We fully trust her with our beloved dog Moose and highly recommend her.

Just got back from my appointment with Dr. Touret, and all I can say is wow! I went to her to receive a second opinion about my dog's MCT removal surgery. She went through the pathology reports in great detail, answered every question, and put my mind at ease. It is very obvious Dr. Touret loves what she does and is not only fantastic with animals, but a great people person too. Her and her team adequately schedule appointments so you do not feel rushed and leave feeling like they care about your animal just as much as you do. Highly recommended!

Following surgery at l'Université de Montréal's faculty of veterinary medicine, the surgeon consulted the oncologist Dr. Maude Touret about the pathologist's report on a malignant mass removed from my dog Frodo. It made sense to turn to Dr. Touret for followup treatment. I am very happy with that choice. Besides her evident technical mastery, Dr. Touret is exemplary in patiently and frankly explaining the medical issues at hand, and her prognosis. She is also exemplary at quickly responding to clients' questions in between appointments. I unreservedly recommend her services.

Dre Touret has helped us with two dogs that were touched by cancer. While one is no longer with us, she has saved our 12 year old dachshund and given us 3+ extra years together thanks to her long-standing care and utilization of a drug that is not traditionally used in her condition. In both cases, Dre Touret always displayed professionalism, empathy and honesty. She has the utmost competence in her field; she has always taken her time to talk to us and guide us in making the best decision possible. We are so grateful to have Dre Touret as a vet we can rely on. She is a gem!

Being an animal rescuer for more than 20 years, I've met plenty of veterinarians during this time and even though most of them were very competent, it was still difficult to find one that combined both excellence in his/her field and all the other qualities that distinguish a great human being. But Dr Touret is one of these people and I'm so happy and grateful to have met her at a time when I thought I was going to loose my cat, Rosie, because of a breast cancer.Not only she gave me the best treatement plan for Rosie, but she honestly answered all my questions and e-mails - even during week-ends- and she sent me documentation regarding the treatement and the specific medication (chemio) for my cat.And yes, statistics and clinical studies are very important in order for you to know what to expect in the future, but that doesn't mean that she treated Rosie as a number, not only for one second. Also, Dr Touret went out of her way to help me get the best treatment for Rosie: she personally came and pick up my cat for the chemio sessions held at the hospital in Laval and brought my cat back in the evening, cause I couldn't leave from work and go Laval. Personally I've never heard of a doctor doing something like that; she was amazing and she saved us both.My Rozi is still under her supervision, but she is cancer free now and I can enjoy her every day thanks to this wonderful doctor.I recommend her with all my heart and be sure that your pet will be in good hands.With all our love and appreciation for Dr Maude,Monica and Rosie

You can't ask for a better oncologist for your pet than Dr. Touret. We came to her with a mass cell tumour diagnosis for our 3 year old berner from another vetenary clinic. With the first interaction, Dr. Touret reassured us with how much she cared and how knowledgeable she is. She was committed to saving our dog, and his leg. With her suggested course of treatment, our dog is now cancer free, and still four-legged. Our dog has been diagnosed with cancer a year and a half ago. Since our first encounter, Dr Touret discussed with us our options, regularly followed up during the treatment so that our dog stays not only alive, but she enjoys it. She answered promptly every single email I sent her whenever a side effect was affecting our pooch, adjusting the medication, always keeping a close check. And when, due to COVID-19 everything closed, and the regular follow up consultation had to be cancelled, Dr Touret contacted us to see how the dog is doing, renewed the prescription so the treatment can continue.It is heart breaking when your dog is diagnosed with cancer. When our sweet girl was diagnosed with AGASACA three years ago we were completely lost and devastated thinking that we were about to lose our baby, thankfully we were referred with Dr. Maude Touret and we love her dearly since then!!She's an amazing person and without a doubt one of the most talented and caring veterinarian that I know, and believe me I know way too many...During our first appointment, she explained everything about the type of tumor and all the possible outcomes, the good and the bad, she's always been straight forward but compassionate at the same time, always there answering our emails, phone calls, adjusting or changing the treatment if necessary...She's always there for us and especially she's always there for our sweet Camille and we know we can count on her no matter what.Thanks, Dr.Touret you are our biggest angel!

Six months ago, my local vet diagnosed Khronos, my adult Australian shepherd with an aggressive strain of cancer.At this time, the cancer had quietly grown to a fairly large size and needed to be removed surgically.My vet had reached out to CV Laval and there was a doctor on staff with an extensive background in oncology. Within a matter of days I was able to make an appointment with Dr. Maude Touret at the Monkland Veterinarian Clinic. After much thought I decided to proceed with the surgery and the treatments ensuing. This was the best decision I could have made.Khronos went though the surgery without any mishaps and began his treatments.Throughout the entire process Dr. Touret was professional but at the same time very caring. Whenever I had any questions or concerns, she would reach out by email or phone. Even during the occasional weekend.Dr. Touret is one of the most dedicated and compassionate doctors I have ever met. Throughout the surgery and therapy she treated Khronos as if he were her own.Today, 6 months after the surgery, Khronos has finished his final dose of medication and to my excitement it is as if it never happened.Without a doubt, if not for the expertise and dedication of Dr. Touret, Khronos would not be here today.I would highly recommend Dr. Touret to anyone wanting to work with a doctor with in depth knowledge of every aspect of oncology. There is no one better in my opinion.Edit: well today (Feb 15, 2023) had to say goodbye to my little friend.He fought long and hard for 4.5 years.
