Mabel Lake
One of the many beautiful lakes in British Columbia, but this one is a true hidden gem and off the beaten path in comparison to other lakes in the area. The lake is very large with many beaches, some only accessible by boat. Overall the lake is very swimmable and is also threat for boating. The lake has two ends that are populated, one near Lumby which is more rustic, and the other end near Enderby is more developed with a resort and golf course.

Lived there for 5 months and it is the most beautiful spot i ever lived. Hoping to be back there next year :)

Beautiful big lake for boating, floating or swimming the shore by the marina can be muddy and hard to walk out but it gets deep enough to swim pretty quick. Other than the provincial camp site not a lot of public access to the lake unless your launching you boat and heading out.

This lake was amazing the water was calm and so refreshing lots of fishing and boat rentals and lots of beaches and campgrounds all around the lake.

22 miles long and over 600 ft deep in places Mabel Lake is located well off the beaten path making it a pristine location for recreation.
