Sylvan Learning of Chilliwack

Sylvan is a great place for your kids, all the teachers are so kind and helpful. They helped my son SO much in the little time we were able to have him go, not just in his reading but the confidence that came along with it. If you have any second guesses about Sylvan, don't. Just go, they will help your child/children in more ways than one!

My daughter who is 10 has made amazing improvements with her reading this year. She struggled with reading fluency, comprehension, spelling as well as she got some letters reversed and was not progressing with the rest of her class. These struggles also meant her confidence was low. She was often thought to be easily distracted and disinterested/not trying. 9 months later she is meeting expectations at her grade level and has new found confidence. She also has found a new joy in reading and does so at home without the tears and fight.We are pleased with her progress. We have decided to switch to math, to try and solidify a foundation she can build on and have a more successful year next year. I find she is getting left behind in school as the layers of knowledge build. Foundation is so important. Worth every dollar!!!
