Hotel Gelato
The website said they were open until 11 pm tonight. We arrived at 10:29 and we were told they close at 10:30. The supervisor would not serve us. They seemed very eager to close early. Avoid this place. Not interested in doing business.

Been to this place over 10 times for sure. When I used to live in the area this was and STILL is my go-to place for ice cream and sorbets. Seriously, I am yet to find a good ice cream place in town! Hopefully, this place will continue to keep up with the vast amount of ice cream choices and quality. They offer seasonal choices as well like apple pie, pumpkin in fall, or watermelon in summer (house made!!) PS. if you are more than ice cream hungry -- I recommend their avocado toasts, and pancakes - really good.Love the interior, although they haven't changed much since this place opened, the place is wide and they have outside seating as well. Nice family-weekend or date spot. Their staff is always very nice every time too. The place also offers free wifi if needed. The location is nice too, you can find neighbourhood free parking as well.

Ambiance is nice. It’s a nice place to go for a quiet brunch, however, the grilled cheese sandwich was too sweet because of the pears and lack of a savoury balance. The mixed greens are much better than what is normally offered at restaurants.

I'm glad to find a lot of good gelato shops in Toronto area. They're not Italian but they're close to itHotel gelato on Eglinton in Midtown Toronto makes a fantastic gelato.. I got the chocolate hazelnut and my buddy got the unique flavours of lemon ricotta which he said was good.Go give Hotel gelato a try

Met a friend for lunch. Service was efficient and friendly. Space was eclectic in a good way and clearly a neighbourhood fav. Coffee was solid and the food was freshly prepared and tasty. Didn’t try the gelato! Will do that next time.

Got a lemon sherbet and Cheesecake ice cream that was great. They also sell chocolate bombs that I look forward to trying. I felt bad about the plastic cups though, hope it's biodegradable or something. Inside has a nice fancy hotel vibe along with a little outdoor patio.

Very good ice cream place. It is popular with families and there will often be a lineup but not for too long. They have a lot of options of flavors both for ice cream and sorbet. They also sell cookies, coffee beans, brownies, maple butter tarts, muffins and croissant. You can enjoy your ice cream on the patio. We tried maple butter tart (the flavor is so on point), pistachio (it was delicious, the flavor was great) and hazelnut (it was great too. Really enjoyed it.
