Best eye doctors in the lower mainland.Dr. Allison Mah, an eye doctor who I believe is exceptional in her field. Dr. Mah is an experienced and knowledgeable professional who has a genuine passion for eye care and helping her patients maintain optimal eye health.During my visit with Dr. Mah, I found her to be attentive and personable, taking the time to listen to my concerns and thoroughly explain any issues she identified. She demonstrated a high level of expertise and provided valuable advice on how to care for my eyes, which I found extremely helpful.In addition to her impressive technical skills, Dr. Mah's compassionate and friendly demeanor made the experience enjoyable and stress-free. She went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable throughout the exam, which was greatly appreciated.Dr. Mah's office is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and the latest advancements in eye care, allowing her to provide the most comprehensive and accurate diagnoses possible. I needed my prescription lenses moved from broken frames to an older pair of frames I owned. Some places like Coquitlam Optometry Centre do not even offer this service, and instead want you to buy a new pair of glasses. But when I went to Westwood Eye Doctors, Rosie was able to expertly do this lens transplant--and even adjusted the fit of the frames--all at a reasonable cost. I'll be returning here for my next new pair of glasses! As well, Dr. Bryant Mah takes the time needed for a thorough eye exam, where other places seem rushed in comparison. The team at Westwood Eye Doctors is highly recommended.

The best Eye Doctor that I have ever seen. Incredibly thorough.

I went to see Dr. Bryant Mah. He was good at explaining things.They don’t have a whole range of eyeglasses so eventually went into Specsaver‘s to get my frames.. another thing I discovered while there was that senior citizens I check up annually is covered hundred percent by MSP at Specsaver‘s but not at Westwood EyeDoctors who charge 75Also if you’re diabetic you book a separate eye health exam just for diabetes it’s covered totally by MSP but you don’t get your numberIf you want your number you get charged 75 and the MSP for $40 or so for the diabetic part of the exam.I do love Barb she’s so helpful and friendly, make sure my Mums specs fit just right. Specsavers are not as confident. She’s also so patient with the glaucoma tests. The 5 stars are on a large scale due to her.This place has better doctors and Barb. If you are serious about your eyes you would come here.

I went in to Westwood Eye Doctors because my vision had blurred and I was getting constant headaches, so I assumed my prescription had changed. As it turns out, Dr. Bryant Mah is the reason I still have my vision. Because of the thoroughness of his examination, he noticed swelling in my optic nerve and immediately sent me to a specialist. My vision started to decline fairly quickly after my appointment, but a week and a half later I now have a diagnosis and am getting treatment for an illness that otherwise could have made me lose my sight entirely. I am incredibly grateful for Dr. Mah and the entire Westwood staff for their conscientiousness and care. I cannot recommend them enough!

10/10 highly recommend. I had a prior eye exam at image optometry, the doctor spent all of 3 minutes with me and called it a day, the prescription was later found to be completely wrong. I went to Westwood eye doctors the next day, Doctor Bryant spent half an hour, did an incredibly thorough examination, patiently answered all my questions and concerns, and gave me great recommendations for prescription based on my needs. The staff was also incredibly patient and friendly, both in person and on the phone; overall I felt well taken care of. I would only go here for any future needs, and happily recommend anyone who's in doubt to give them your business. You will not be disappointed.

The best optometrist I’ve ever visited. Dr. Lloyd Mah listen carefully to my dry eye problems and laid out a 3 step daily routine which has made huge improvements in my quality of life.I highly recommend Westwood Eye doctors, great service and treatment!

Truly amazing place and responsible staffI have been to many different optometrist due to my high prescription. However, this place was truly exceptional. They listened to everything I had to say, and took them seriously. To ease my concerns, the doctors and the staff were patient to explain to me what everything means and gave me advices to follow. I have had retina thinning for a while, but they actually referred me to a specialist to check it out. Even when I’m picking glasses, the staff was paying attention to my needs, and bringing me well-fitted glass frames.Overall, it was an incredible experience, and I’m thankful to everyone there. Would give a 10/5 stars if possible. 100% recommended.

Terrible experience. Doctor was rushing thru the entire eye exam. Also, this doctor won't give you the prescription for your contacts, that would be extra charge! that's a rip off because I've been to many other opticians(Downtown, Burnaby, Newwest) and it is sufficient with the eye exam to give you the prescription, so be aware of this ridiculous extra charge. Then, he ask me if I want dilated drops to check my eyes health, so I ask him if that was part of the eye exam and no extra cost 'yeah, is part of the exam' he said. They ended up charging me those drops; plus I ask him several times what where the effects, and he just said a little discomfort but nothing specific; just so you know, If you have to look at your cellphone or work at the computer (anything with blue light) you won't be able for up to 4 or 6 hours—couldn't he mention this? in the end, they give my prescription wrong, putting the highest prescription on my left eye when I know my right has the highest. Just avoid this place, there's other places around, believe me.
