Came here for the first time as I’m new to the neighborhood, thought this place would be great to go for a 28th birthday celebration but that didn’t go through, the bar tender just looked at us 4 times and made us wait 5 minutes before we decided to leave, as we left, there was a scowl from the bar tender and as an aboriginal person, find that very disrespectful! Will not go back here!

The bartender is always friendly, and gives me a smile. The vodka was on special, so it's nice and cheap in comparison to other bars. Quick service.

It's one thing to overhear a customer judging another customer by their fashion choices and body size. But different when it's the staff. Especially when the girls/ staff themselves are overweight and don't know how to do their own makeup. And loud enough for the whole pub to hear. I wasn't in the group they were judging. But we all heard it.

We walked in never got a greeting, just a stare. Then we sat at the table left of the bar ( kinda close to it ) we got 4 looks from the barista in the span of 5 minutes. No one came over to ask if we needed food or drinks. Really poor service.

It was just this past Monday June 12th and it was 30C outside. I found myself working very hard all day and still in a spot that evening where I had to find my own my way across town.This is most certainly due to a lack of money in my pocket.About a mile away I thought of Rendezvous Pub that I had been to once or maybe twice before. I remembered it being a very friendly and welcoming place, maybe even a place where even if I looked like I had no intention of being a paying customer right now, they would probably give me an iced water if I asked.Sure enough, I was correct. The man working behind the bar was amazingly so prompt in refilling me twice quickly that I felt like a priority and even though all I had were sincere gratitude to show my appreciation, he made me feel like that was more than enough.#pub #peoplemaketheplace #kindness #payitforward #bar #thankyou
