Someone from this dealership in a white SUV with a dealership decal was observed in Bloomington to threaten a driver/road rage. Shameful.

Denis (owner) and the shop manager need to reevaluate how they manage their shop. They treat all their apprentices like lube techs, only giving them oil changes and tire jobs. The apprentices have what’s called a “blue book” that is filled with jobs that they need to work on and complete before they are able to graduate their program and become licensed. The shop makes money off of the apprentices completing the book and moving up the levels to becoming licensed. Instead of ACTUALLY doing the jobs in the book, management decides to fake it and sign off. Constantly rushing techs to be faster, to the point that the lube tech that they refused to train for more than 2 days, is questioning if he’s bad at his job THAT HE WASNT TRAINED TO DO. The owner would rather let 1 employee steal from the other 9 and create a hostile work environment, because he makes the shop a lot of money by overcharging customers. The only reason James was let go was because he was caught blatantly stealing from the shop itself. Disgusting behaviour, no wonder half your shop wants to quit. I hope they all go someplace else where they will be trained properly and Southside only sells the trucks. Horrible, I have always had good service with Southside in service, parts and sales untill now. In the past they warranteed my chev Colorado's power steering while the truck had a 3 level and Bigger tires with no issues. Now I bring in my 2020 Silverado which I bought new from this dealer and they are denying my warranty because my truck has 1.5" level and Bigger tires. Even though I have photographic evidence of the faulty part before those parts were installed. So for the denying of a few hundred dollars of labour to repack two CV joints and put on a tighter clamp I will no longer be buying my next truck with Southside. Good job in losing a $70k sale guys."

Absolute pleasure dealing with Larry and Sara at Southside for my Buick Enclave purchase. I was given an excellent trade-in value, low interest rate and friendly service. Sara will work hard in finding you the best financing and warranty options. Larry is a down to earth non-pressuring sales professional whom I found makes the buying experience much more pleasurable. Great experience, dealer trade found me a new truck quick and got top dollar for my truck

If i could rate them a 0 for service it sure would be. I brought my car in for a warranty in 2019, hoping they fixed the problem. As you can guess it was fixed improperly, so my car kept leaking coolant. Me not being a mechanic did not think of it being the same thing they just fixed. Now my car broke down on the side of the road with no coolant. Spoke with the manager and they indicated that there was nothing they can do to fix the issues as i had to spend over 500$ to fix what they had “already” fixed. Do not go there for warranty, they will break it and then you wont notice it until your warranty is over. I even told the manager i was going to write a review and all he said was okay.

If I could rate 0 stars, I would. Listen to the negative reviews, this place is garbage. The other comments about warranty runaround are spot-on. I purchased a brand-new SUV from here, less than 40km on it, highest level warranty available. I spent the first 2 years of ownership arguing with them about oil changes being covered in that warranty; they swear they checked, its not covered. Eventually I take it to a dealership down south and surprise, surprise; oil changes are covered. Spent another few months trying to get my money back for those changes, and honestly, it only goes downhill from there. My warranty included tire protection, but guess what? They don’t service tires. They’ll sell you the warranty but won’t tell you they don’t provide the service on it. They lie about completed maintenance, they clearly don’t check their customer records, and basically want to steamroll you into paying for expensive repairs that often aren’t needed. My wife brought our SUV in when we noticed it had lost power and wasn’t gaining speed, even when you put the pedal to the floor. They told her, “You’re just driving like an old lady”. I quoted it, because that’s word-for-word what they told her. It is unsafe to purchase a vehicle from this dealership, that is fact #1. Everything else; the poor service, the terrible work, and obvious sexism are just extra reasons to never purchase anything from Southside Chevrolet Buick GMC.
