Creative Connexions Performing Arts Centre

The friendly teachers at Creative Connexions have helped my shy daughter grow into a performer. They have been keenly interested in her development as a dancer as well as a young lady.They have various theme days and make learning fun even when it's tough. My daughter loves going to dance!I definitely would recommend Creative Connexions as a dance studio for kids.

My daughter started here back in September 2020 at the age of 2. She was extremely timid at first but warmed up fairly quickly due to Miss Rhea’s nurturing personality and one on one attention. They have a great system in place that adheres to the Covid 19 regulatory requirements. I feel safe sending my daughter here during these uncertain times. Not only is she learning a love for dance, I’ve seen improvement in her social and emotional skills. She asks mom and dad to take her to dance class almost everyday, she truly loves it here.I’m very happy I decided to start her dance journey here at Creative Connexions and I look forward to witnessing her growth.

A warm welcome alongside a positive environment for each valued individual who walks through your doors, is just one of many reasons CCPAC is a highly recommended extracurricular activity for all members in the community. Though I had to end my time here too soon, I know and WILL always know, that CCPAC's inspiration, motivation, and creativity [even more to highlight] for youth and adolescent allows individuals to continue growing and persevere when difficult obstacles come their way. Teamwork, respect, and responsibility, are character traits that educational schools promote to all staff and students. CCPAC displays continuous efforts to support these values and empower young individuals to have contagious positivity, smiles, laughs & giggles, and most importantly, determination as they more forward in life.I would like to pass along my appreciation and gratitude for all CCPAC members. Creative Connections is a great studio to have your child start or continue their dance education. My daughter started when she was just 2 yrs and now she is 5 yrs old. Miss Rhea was so patient on her first class, where she cried most of the class, but after two weeks, my daughter was fine .... and we haven't left since. They also offered summer evening dance and dance camps which was very convenient for the summer.I will say, it is great to see teachers who love to teach children to dance and seeing those children love dancing.

My daughter had a great first camp experience last week. She loved dancing with the other kids, doing crafts and playing together. Rhea communicated with me lots about how she was doing and when she was feeling a little tired or homesick throughout the week. The video compilation sent at the end of the week of the kids dancing looked professional and a great memory to share. It was a great experience!

DISAPPOINTED for me !!! NEVER EVER !!! We signed up for my 5-year-old daughter with great enthusiasm. It is difficult to communicate professionally. because there are not enough people who give enough information. My daughter was very excited for the dance performances. and she was at oshawa little theater a few hours before show time. but we even made an effort to see his teacher there. Afterwards, we had the biggest shock because my daughter was not on stage while she was waiting for her to go on stage with her friends. It was a big shock for us. It was my daughter's show time, her friends were dancing, but my daughter was not on the stage. I immediately went to the back stage and found her sadly waiting. when will i go on stage mom? “My teacher said I have to wait now,” she said. We talked to her teacher without letting her know and told her that we wanted them to go on stage again. this is a failure. It's a shame to forget to put the dancer who is standing ready where she needs to be on stage. never again !

I love Creative Connexions because the staff is very friendly and caring to my child’s needs. I’m happy that I’m apart of their dance family. My daughter enjoy going to her dance class and it’s all because of Miss Rhea. She’s such a sweet person that make sure all her dancers and parents are happy with the service. She’s well organized and keep me in the loop with any changes or up coming events. My daughter will be dancing with these lovely ladies for a while.

Creative Connexions is literally a part of my daughter's life. the team is fully engaged with her and her needs to ensure that her dance is experience is awesome. I know nothing about dance, so they help her get all the gear and equipment she needs with little to no fuss.

My daughter had a blast over the past year at Creative Connexions. She loved it from day 1.The teachers are friendly, fun and engaging. It was a great opportunity to make new friends and my daughter had a great time whether dancing in studio or at home. The diversity that is reflected in staff and students was also a positive.I highly recommend Miss Rhea and the staff at Creative Connexions. It is a professional, yet relaxed environment when students are inspired to do their best and have fun. Can’t wait for next year’s recitals!

My daughters were among new students when Creative Connexions opened their door, and since then, it is like a second home for them. Words do not do justice to this feeling of a beautiful world that Ms. Rhea has created for my girls. A world filled with fun yet instill the importance of growth, teamwork, good work ethics and giving our children the opportunity to pursue their passion for dance. The studio has also given them a chance to develop a wonderful friendship and to learn valuable life lessons that will serve them well in the future. The teachers are approachable, friendly, and quite frankly, I cannot ask for more. The CC also gives both the dancers and their parents a sense of community and family, and we look forward to many more happy years at CC.
