I had a horrible experience coming to Saadia for counselling with my husband. She completely took his side and shamed me for not getting along with my mother-in-law. She empathized with my husband that it must be hard for him to be stuck in the middle while she completely dismissed my existence. I went into that session with such vulnerability but came out worse and it took me years to get over the fear of seeking help again because of this nasty experience. Never go to a south asian psychologist that holds old views. She further oppressed me and traumatized me from ever feeling safe to speak to a counsellor again that I will get shamed again.
