Had the Vegan eggs benny, and it was sooooo incredibly delicious. We also had mimosas and the most wonderful server ever, and that’s coming from another server. They had the most wonderful personality, but also paid special care to our baby girl, which was super heartwarming.I had just gotten back from a pretty rough trip to Toronto with cancelled flights and the whole works while alone with my baby, and this brunch experience literally just made everything okay. 10/10 <3

The food is very good had the salmon benny which was very fresh and tasty could do with a better portion of salmon nice plating. My wife had the avocado toast which she said was really good . It was the first time at this restaurant we will be back hope the kitchen is a little faster than our first visit. The staff are very nice and helpful.The second visit was great had Montreal smoked meat hash my wife had frittata both were really good. They seem to have a good consistency in the quality of the food they put out.We keep coming back for more great food. The food is very consistent and the plating is very pleasing to the eye. The restaurant has a comfortable atmosphere and friendly staff.

Where do you go when the power is out on a Saturday morning and you're hungry? No brainer...the Tidal Cafe because you know you can always count on them! I had the special Blackstone Benny with fresh fruit salad and hubby had the Montrealer breakfast sandwich. Besides their delicious food, the staff are friendly and ready to top you up with coffee refills.

I visited this restaurant with a party of two and we were pleasantly surprised by the experience. The staff was very accommodating and understanding of our allergies, taking our order promptly. The water and coffee arrived within a reasonable time frame, and the Americano I ordered was served without delay.The mimosa I ordered came shortly after, and the food arrived at a timely 10:27 (about 30 minutes after ordering). Throughout our meal, the staff checked up on us and provided punctual service.The Chipotle Bennie with potato hash that I ordered was absolutely delicious. The eggs on the Bennie were cooked to perfection, with no runny whites, and the hollandaise sauce had a delightful combination of richness and citrus. The portion sizes were generous, offering great value for the price. The Mimosa flights were a unique and tasty option.The restaurant had a clean and well-maintained environment, with both the bathrooms and tables being spotless. The service was exceptional, with many servers taking care of the tables and sharing responsibilities efficiently. Despite the small interior, the music and noise level were just right, allowing for comfortable conversations without straining to hear.The restaurant's central location provided us with plenty of options for places to visit afterward. I do have a minor suggestion for improvement—the cheesy potato dish could benefit from a bit more sauce to enhance the flavor in the middle.On a positive note, they offer a separate kids menu with decent portions at half the price. Overall, our experience was excellent, and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Its location and the atmosphere were nice.We've ordered a french toast and salmon benny. Unfortunately, I didn't like the French toast bread. Benny was delicious. The service was great as well.

There was a short wait when we got to the restaurant, but we were seated in less time than we were told the wait was. The server we had was excellent. The food was amazing. This was our first visit here and we will definitely go back to try other dishes on the menu. My hubby ordered the original Benny and I ordered the smoked meat hash. (He said he like mine better then his)

Great brunch place. Delicious, authentic and a popular spot. Great coffee. Friendly staff and quality service. Many meals can be converted into vegan options as well. I had to come back and add: I LOVE that this restaurant is inclusive and were donating money from some items (which I chose) to support LGBTQ+. It’s so nice to see a genuine contribution being made as it aligns with my personal values.

This was the best breakfast/brunch I ever had. The food tasted so fresh and delicious. I had the hot turmeric drink that was a great choice on a rainy day. The cafe has a nice atmosphere and all of the staff and the owners were super friendly. I will definitely be back soon. Only wish we had something similar in Qualicum Beach.

We ate here twice in 4 days: Smoke Meat Hash substitute salmon, Cafe Breakfast, French Toast, and Meatball Sandwich. All very yummy and satisfying. The espresso for our oat lattes were hand pulled. Although it is a fairly tiny restaurant, they made use of partitions for distancing. The service was just right, If this place was open on Tuesdays, we would have eaten here three times in four days! Although if we drove past it and just checked it out from the outside, we might not have chosen it.
