Flat Boy Burgers

Popped by after learning about Flat Boy on Insta. It's really under the radar, taking up the concession stand at the Granite curling club. It has been a hot minute since the last time I'd stepped foot in a curling rink but the ambiance was strangly suited for a burger joint. Sadly there were no curlers on the ice to watch as we ate.My wife ordered a lettuce wrapped single and I got a regular double, it was nice that they have both veggie and gluten free options. The burgers were delicious, they smash them super thin so the edges turn into the best kind of crunchy meat candy. The bun was soft and tender, feels like it was baked same day, and it worked so well with the crisp meat. The fries were steakhouse cut & doubled fried. If you ever miss Red Robin's fries, these are a strictly better version of those that can scratch the itch but unfortunately they're not bottomless.The key lime pie seemed kinda average, although I've read the many glowing reviews so perhaps it's glory escapes me as I'm not really a pie guy.We will definitely be back with friends and I look forward to taking on the You're Not That Kinda Guy Pal, Trust Me challenge!

We stopped in for Saturday lunch at the Granite Curling Club after hearing about Flat Boy Burgers at Sea Change Brewing. We arrived shortly after noon and were able to order quickly. The front staff were helpful and made menu recommendations. We enjoyed double cheese burgers, flat fries and sauce, and shared a piece of key lime pie for dessert. Our lunch was delicious and made fresh. We will definitely return. There is parking available in front.

This is so easily the best burger in Edmonton and it’s not even close, this place is unreal. Might even be the best bite of food you can get in the whole city. Vibe aside which is also immaculate, I am seriously blown away by the burger. I’m emotional rn so glad this exists please run it up so it never ever goes out of business. I love y’all

Got delivery and def one of the best burgers I've had in a long time! Smash patty was really flavorful, crisp yet juicy and bun was the perfect texture, not soggy despite being delivered. Loved the sauce as well.

The burgers and fries are just delicious. They technically got my order wrong, but it was to my benefit so I'm not complaining (I got three singles instead of one triple, so more food for me). But their smash burgers are top notch, proper smash burgers with the crispy edges and everything. So good. Great taste. And the fries, so many fries and so tasty, especially with their house sauce. If you're looking for a damn good burger, go here. The burgers are simple and delicious. You won't be disappointed. Definitely one of the best burgers in Edmonton. My only nitpick would be if they offered a choice of bread and butter pickles or dill pickles, but that's just a personal preference as I much prefer dill pickles. Also, get the key lime pie. It's amazing. Life changing. Just get it and you'll understand.

For those that grew up in curling clubs or ice arenas back in the day, you may remember the beautiful smell of burgers and hot dogs in those venues.It was almost nostalgic to hear that Flat Boy Burgers had found a home in the Granite Curling Club. As soon as you step through the double doors, you can smell the burgers frying. Turn to the left and there they are!The service is amazing. The guys are so kind and helpful. They clearly love what they do. And the smash burgers are to die for. Perfectly smashed patties each with a layer of melted cheese. I had a triple flattie. Each pattie is 3 oz.Great fries too. So generous. They offered up generous ketchup and vinegar.It was so great to see this local shop in the Whyte Ave area. I will definitely be back. Though it's not the greatest venue"

The Meal was outstanding and a first! I could not eat another bite if I wanted to! So delicious and filling! They even delivered it to my table, outside! A double Flattie and Flat Fries! Thanks, Travis! Highly recommend!

Great smash burger! Seemed like some of the regulars were aware of some burgs that weren’t on the menu that sounded good, but I was still happy with my double cheeseburger

Looked on Google for a burger place that wasn't a chain and boy did I find one. The burgers are so awesome, the guys working were great and you get full. I only ordered one fries and shared it, there was so many super tasting fries, It was hard for us to finish them. I will definitely come here again and I will tell everyone I know about this place because of how great it is. 10/10
