Caring and compassionate staff. The vet is not in a hurry to rush you out of the examination room, everything is clear and explained so well. I like the fact that meds are brought to the examination room and are explained to the client. I feel comfortable with this clinic and have no hesitation recommending to others. It was an appointment nobody wants. My dog tore her ACL completely, requiring surgery.Literally every interaction with these folks left me feeling good, often leaving a smile on my face. From the first telephone call, to the consult, to the amazing care they gave my girl and their follow-up has been second to none.Here we are two weeks later and we are already going for small walks.Thank you for solving our issue and giving my dog her freedom back ❤️Update 12 weeks after surgery: Our experience remained top-notch all the way along. Thanks to Dr. Rick and team, we are back to hiking, although she has a few more weeks before she’s allowed to run.Final update 17 weeks after surgery. We hike often, she’s lost the weight from pre-surgery inactivity, I’ve started to allow her to run, and we are up to 10km hikes without any soreness in the evening or next day. I swear she felt “end-of-life” before surgery: it’s incredible to see the revitalization mobility has given her.Thank you Dr. Rick and Team.

After going to the same clinic for many years, I found the quality of service declining. There was one Vet that transferred from there to PetWorks who I really liked, so I called and thankfully they were accepting new patients. The staff were wonderful. I have a dog that is a little complicated and they were all great with him. Thank you to all of them!!

Dr. Nadine Trudeau is excellent as are all of the staff. Our puppy Pepper loves going there. All the staff want to have a little visit with her. Even those working in the back ask to see her each time.

Receptionist and technician Annette and Vet Dr. Rick Swinamer went above and beyond in treating (on an incredibly short notice) our 5 year old Lab mix, Rory.Their compassion and efficiency went a long way to alleviating a very stressful situation for not only Rory but also for me and my wife.An outstanding experience that words cannot accurately convey.

My cattle dog / GSD mix had a sore leg for the past few months that got worse over the holidays, and I suspected she might need knee surgery. We met with Dr Tim - I was shocked to hear the surgery was necessary, and that it was so complicated. Gulp… we went ahead.Pleased to say that Dr Tim has been amazing. Hazel’s pain was higher than expected but he returned my calls quickly and had been so so patient with all my concerns and questions. He also made sure I had what I needed to make her comfortable, including instructions to increase the meds and make sure she wasn’t in unnecessary pain.Shout out to the staff as well! I’m a nervous mom and they have been patient, responsible and very organized in setting the whole thing up. Very impressed. Thanks to you all.

The folks here are caring and compassionate. They very clearly love animals and go above and beyond for the pets in their care. The family husky is treated like a princess by everyone and she is more than happy to go visit her friends there, which makes the visits much happier for her.

I am new to Pet Works and was a little nervous about meeting a new vet as I had just moved here from Bridgewater. Dr. Stoddard put my fears to rest as soon as he introduced himself. He wanted to know all about Cassie, did not rush me thru the appointment but took the time to really listen to what I had to say. He was very gentle with Cassie, 17 yrs, which put her at ease. He will be my vet going forward as I liked him from the beginning. I feel my cats are in excellent hands, no more fears on my part. It is a beautiful office with a super receptionist…. I am more than happy with Pet Works…

To say the staff at this vet hospital are amazing is an understatement. Our girl Kelli went in for TPLO with Dr. Swinemar, he took the time to explain everything in detail about the surgery and even called to check up on her the next morning himself. The tech's were so sweet with my big girl, they made her bandage look like a watermelon to match her leash. They also called me to let me know how recovery was going after surgery. The patience and care they gave her was so reassuring the day I dropped her off for surgery. Our check up appointment was the same, you can really tell they are passionate about what they do! I can't thank the staff enough.
