Delta Hotels by Marriott Calgary South

The hotel is really getting run down. The rooms are small, the climate control is inconsistent often to hot or too cold. The hot tub is often out of service. High price for what you get. In previous visits the staff was accommodating which we liked. We used to frequent this hotel for family get togethers but last visit we were treated very poorly by the hotel security for playing cards (crib) in the common areas. Even after speaking with the manager they still gave us a hard time. I would not recommend going here

Hotel berry clean, staff friendly. Pool was fun. Service at front desk great. Very busy time and a small mistake in our booking was fixed quickly and to our benefit greatly. I have never had such great treatment at a hotel. Definitely would stay again.

From the professionalism of all the staff, notably Carrie, Amanda, and Julie, you feel like you are in good hands the moment you check in or grab a bite to eat. The property has multiple meeting spaces, so it can be busy one day and quiet the next. The unique feature of the hotel is that it is 2 hotels, a tower and atrium, separated by a street, but connected with a crosswalk. They each have their own feel. The tower is more corporate, but with a waterslide, while the atrium has many rooms with interior balconies overlooking the pool. The food in the concierge lounge is only rivaled by the service... and the food is amazing, especially at night. Breakfast is everything you could want, but they try to impress at night. The one drawback is a lack of heated garage, which many other properties in the city have.

Beautiful hotel inside, love the restaurant. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Had trouble booking a king suite, front desk helped me with that Rooms are clean, modern and quiet.

I had a splendid experience, the rooms were spacious and tastefully furnished. There was swimming pool and water slide for the kids as well. The food was very good and the staff were nice and welcoming.

Stayed here Apr 25. Hotel staff are great. The attendant in the club lounge gave excellent service. This particular Delta executive lounge is a touch above most. Larger selection of snacks and a more upscale cozy feel. Well done.

The staff at this delta hotel gave us an amazing warm welcome after a week of a bunch of awful hotel stays at other hotels. We were more than pleased when staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable.Best thing about this hotel is the two pools they have. There’s a pool in two different areas of the hotel. One of the pools is for adults. The other is for families and kids. Was so perfect to just get to relax in a quiet hot tub without a bunch of screaming and splashing kids. Whoever designed that is genius!! Well done Delta!We went to their attached bar-style restaurant. We ordered nachos but they weren’t very good. The hotel staff were so easy and happy to give us breakfast vouchers for their Sage and Co restaurant for the poor experience we had with the nachos. The breakfast was the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Seriously so delicious. I got their pancakes.I would happily stay here again and recommend others to stay here as well. The staff are just so accommodating and friendly.

Overall decent hotel. The room isn’t bad - although the bedding is very rough and felt like sandpaper. There was also a used q tip next to the bed when we got in. The few times I called the front desk, I waited on hold for a while but the service was alright. Seems like a good place to stay if you are travelling with kids.

We had a real rough day and I was less then hospitable but Marion made sure we were well taken care of. Cannot thank her enough she was truly the brightest part of my day.
