Really nice spot waterfront! We went on the weekend and there was a big line at the door but it went fast.We ordered guacamole and some sweet potato chips, the guacamole was good but not the best we’ve had, the sweet potato chips were really good. The staff is friendly and the space is well decorated.Overall it was a good experience and a spot that we recommended going to relax and enjoy the view if you stay on the deck.

Amazing place by the waterfront and if your table is having view of the lake then it’s a lucky day. Place usually gets busy and you have to line up to get the table. We were lucky to get the table instantly as we entered. We arrived just before it got busy. We requested to have table has the lake view, they mentioned, “certainly, if you can wait for few minutes” and witching 5 minutes we given the table. Food and service was amazing. No rush and we could spend nice time. I definitely come again and recommend to experience this great place.

It was my first time dining at Amsterdam Brewhouse yesterday. We asked for a table for 2 on the patio, which was packed! After 20 minutes in line, we got seated at our table. We ordered- 2 Sparkling Pink Lemonades (8/10)- 2 Amsterdam Good Chicken Sandwich (4/10)The drinks were great, but the food wasn’t it. The fries were burnt, half of it was about 2 cm long, and no flavour. The sandwich tasted like a McDonald’s bun, chicken that had zero seasoning, some lettuce and barely any sauce. We kept needing to go back to salt our food.Service wise, even though it was a busy day, the servers were quick and professional.I don’t think I would come back for the food, but the drinks are worth it.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Amsterdam Brewhouse in downtown Toronto, and overall, it was a delightful experience. While there were a few areas that could be improved upon, the charming atmosphere and the proximity to the lake made up for any minor shortcomings. For the food menu may be somewhat limited in terms of options.

The food and atmosphere are really bad here to say the least. I came here on hot Friday evening and inside was almost as hot as outside. The AC is not in use because the doors are wide open so it can get sweltering in here depending on where you sit. We had a party of six and had to squeeze in booth that clearly best suited for 4 people. This made it feel even hotter. After we moved seats it was slightly cooler. I got the hops flight which was pleasant, refreshing and had good variety. The food was awful though. I tried the brisket sandwich because it had good reviews on G Maps but it was really oily and soggy. My bottom bun was falling apart too, almost as if ripped in the middle. The fries were possibly the worst fries I’ve ever had, no exaggeration. I feel like they gave me those end bits from the frier you are supposed to discard. I only had a few fries and couldn’t bother to even try to finish it. I hate wasting food but I had to leave it because they were so bad. In hindsight I probably should have sent them back or asked for a replacement. But it’s bar food and I didn’t want to complain. My friend got the chicken schnitzel and said it was overly salty, nothing special. The spinach dip was alright but there too much bread/crackers and not enough dip.The service is good but even our server seemed phased by the heat inside. The only reason I’m giving two stars instead of one is because of the beer selection and friendly service. I will look around for other waterfront bars because this ain’t it. Avoid this place if you want tasty food and staying cool on summer days.

Knowing the restaurants and breweries of Toronto, we found Amsterdam. The place is really cool, it has a giant indoor area, with a lower and upper lounge, and they have an outdoor area overlooking the lake. The service is well organized and, at least on the day of our visit, it was very fast: even with the blue jays game that had just happened. The bathrooms are very clean and have space for babies, they have a chair for babies and even gave my daughter colored pencils to play with. They have a bathroom adapted for people with disabilities and the environments have plenty of space for locomotion. The food was wonderful and the beer is not even mentioned. The menu has options for meals and snacks, as well as desserts. Drinks are not just beers, they have drinks and non-alcoholic drinks, and desserts. For children a menu with juices, milk, snacks, salads and chicken. It's really worth knowing

Not too big of a menu of food or beer, but all the options are quite good. About 6 in house beers to choose from, my favourite being the Downtown Brown" Dark ale. The wings

Went here for late patio lunch. Jose served our table. Very nice water front view. We orderedPretzel for appetizer it came with Dijon mustard and caramel sauce. It was soooo delicious, I can’t recommend it enough. For main meal we got chicken schnitzel and fish and chips. Both were delicious but the chicken schnitzel was ungodly good, I definitely go back for that. I got the cruiser beer, it was way hoppier than my liking. Pregnant mommy also got a sweet fries which was actually really good with sea salt.

I ordered the brisket mac and cheese which was crazy good! The portion appeared small but was deceiving, it definitely filled me up. The service was pretty slow to the point that we almost went to the bar to just order drinks. It was a very warm day outside and I’m not sure if they had the AC off or set to 90° but it was not too enjoyable sweating while we ate. With that said, great beer selection and food was on point!

One of the most awesome place to hang out and a definite must do if you are taking a touristy trip to CN towers. It’s a short walk from there. The views as they promise are amazing although they kept rotating // The beer is awesome and the retail shop offers some pics too if you want to carry on the party at home. Thank you Paige for the excellent service and also for making the effort to find us outside when we forgot our stuff at the table.
