My family, and I went into the store on Saturday May 20th, 2023 to upgrade, and replace some equipment for an upcoming trip. The staff were beyond fantastic. They showed me where everything I wanted was, and helped me decide between some items. Everything I wanted was put aside at the counter, so we could take our time, as my daughter wanted to explore the store, and repeatedly look at the animal displays. Not only does the shop have a great selection of quality equipment, but the atmosphere and staff made it a very fun, and family friendly experience. We will definitely be making more regular visits, and purchases in the future.P.S. My daughter loves her Kupilka Shot cup, and has had it with her for every meal since our visit.

We drove a long way to visit the store and it was well, well worth it! Not only did we find a wide selection of high quality products, we found Aiden who is a treasure trove of information and gives customers an opportunity to browse at their own pace without hovering over them. And when we got home, we found free goodies in our bag! We have now purchased a wide variety of items from this store, from knives to cups, camping equipment and clothing, and we're very happy with everything we have selected, including on the basis of feedback and suggestions from Aiden. We recommend this store highly and without reservation - both for in-person shopping and for online purchases.

I ordered 2 gransfors bruk axes. 1 splitting maul and an outdoor axe. I was hesitant since it was an out of USA country order. Shipping was fast and free. Axes were packed great. Prices were the best. Any outdoor equipment that I need I will shop with Canadian outdoor equipment!

Staff (Aidan) was friendly and very knowledgeable about all of the products I was interested in. The store is very well stocked and I was especially impressed with the high quality lines here at reasonable prices. DefiniteIy some hard to find items on hand too! I live a long drive away and have a busy life. I’ve been wanting to get to this store for over TWO years and finally made the trip. Aidan made it a very worthwhile trip and enjoyable experience! I loaded up with a Grandfors Bruks axe, battoning tools, several fire making items, a large stash of saw blades and several other items.Thanks Aidan AND Canadian Outdoor Equipment. I have ordered items online from Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co. close to 10 times over the past 5 years. Without exception the service has been excellent. Shipping is always prompt and I get what I ordered. Over my years of experience in the backcountry, canoeing or hiking, I have tested many types and brands of outdoor gear and supplies. In my opinion, I believe the Canadian Outdoor Equipment Co only sells quality products that are made to be well used in the outdoors. I really like the YouTube videos! My only complaint is they don't have a store here in Alberta! Keep up the great work!
