The customer service here is incredibly friendly, but honestly I’m still disappointed by my experience with them. I ordered a halal turkey 2 weeks before I needed it, for the weekend following thanksgiving. I know this is something that’s harder to find so I called around and they were the first place that said they could find one for me. I placed my order and then heard nothing from them. I assumed if there was an issue they would call. So 3 days before the party I call and ask if they were able to have my turkey. They didn’t remember my order and at first informed me that they wouldn’t have a turkey until Monday. When they did find my order they told me it would be ready the following day. I can the next day only to be told in person they didn’t have the turkey for me.Everyone was lovely, and I’m sure that this is a small mistake every so often, but I still won’t be returning to them again in the future because of this incredibly frustrating experience. If you need to order something, please make sure to order well in advance and touch base with them regularly as they won’t provide you with information up front and it could severely impact your plans.

I would give them 10 stars if I could! Great place to shop and/or eat. Staff is awesome and friendly. Their lunch selection is amazing. Everything on the menu is top knotch and delicious.They have so much selection, from great cuts to a wide variety of cheese. A real family vibe, you will feel welcome and leave smiling.

Picked up some chuck" stewing beef and it was easily the best I've ever had. Very tender. For $15 we received a significant amount and the service was great as well. I will mention it would be better if they listed their prices per lb as opposed to kg. Thank you!"

Been getting meat orders here ever sents we moved to kingston the prices are fair everyone that works there has been polite and helpful definitely recommend them

This butcher is great. They have high quality product at a decent price. They are always helpful and also have no problem with substitutions in their freezer packs. I absoultely recommend this place.

Discovered Barriefield Meat Market about a month ago and we absolutely love the quality of their meat, from the marinated chicken brochettes to the steaks and burgers. Will certainly return.

Why does this place even need a review?! You know they’re awesome. Great cuts of meat. Fantastic deal on pre-packaged frozen ground beef. Oh and did I mention the soups, the salads and deli meat? What are you waiting for? Go and get some goodness from these butchers. (No pics. I didn’t want you to crash your car while driving to this place. Besides, a picture doesn’t do the meat any justice. I need smell-o-vision).

We stopped in to pick up some chicken and steak for a family barbecue. Wow!!! What an amazing deli experience. The chicken breasts were freshly cut and the steaks were the best we've tasted in a long time. But it doesn't stop at meat. There is a whole wall of frozen entrées, all made on site, sausages of varied meats, Mac and cheese, chicken pot pie...it goes on. Then there is the freshly prepared salad counter, and, the home baked buns and deserts. A word of advice...don't go in hungry. Or, for a super experience..do! We will definitely be back. And, the service is awesome.
