Nelia's Floral Design

Arrangement was beautiful but Nelia became very rude when I expressed concerns about the quality of the flowers. Would not be returning.A long review, but needed to explain my story. Starts off well but goes sour at the end. (tl;dr at the bottom)I ordered from Nelia back in 2020 and was so impressed with the arrangement that I spent quite some time finding her shop again to order the same bouquet for Mother’s Day this year.She was initially very helpful over the phone and was willing to prepare the arrangement for me based off a picture I had (I couldn’t find the same entry on the website). Being so pleased with the service, I even brought my boyfriend to pick the flowers up with me and convinced him to order his own bouquet for his mom as well. Nelia was able to whip up a very nice arrangement within minutes, and we were both charged very reasonable prices.Upon receiving my flowers, I was wowed by the colours and the arrangement. I noticed some of the roses weren’t the best quality (the petals were already wrinkling and frail-looking) but I figured they were just small, and I was so happy with the experience so far that I chose not to say anything - big mistake. When I took them home and gifted them to my mom, she also commented on the small roses looking worse for wear but I brushed it off, thinking that they would be fine.After the first day of receiving her bouquet, my mom took some pictures of those same roses and said they were already wilted and dying. We were all obviously disappointed, as these were a gift and I was hoping they would last a few days at the minimum.I texted Nelia the pictures and asked her if she would consider replacing those specific roses because the quality was not up to par, and that I would even be willing to come to her shop and pick them up. Nelia was immediately defensive, telling me that none of her other customers have complained, that they were extremely fresh, and that I must not have put them in water soon enough. I explained that I put them in water immediately upon arriving home (max 10 minutes) and I that I already noticed those flowers not doing so well from the start.I thought my request was extremely reasonable and I was being very civil, to be clear. I told her I just wanted to fix this part of the bouquet so my mom could enjoy her flowers as they should be. Nelia, very unprofessionally, then told me that “the rest of the bouquet looks amazing” and I am “complaining about 1 stem??” I expressed that I just want to receive the product that I paid for at an acceptable quality, and she continued to be rude and defensive, telling me she’s received nothing but compliments from others and again telling me that I did not water them properly. She rudely expressed that I was making a big deal out of nothing and that I should just remove those roses and the “bouquet will still look beautiful”.After being supportive of her business and giving her so many compliments on her work, I absolutely did not expect to be met with such rude and hostile behaviour. I had so many nice things to say to my friends and family and was ready to give Nelia a five-star review until this happened. Everyone in now upset and this experience soured what was supposed to be a beautiful mother’s day gift, all because I requested a replacement for 4 bad-quality roses.Happy to provide screenshots of our conversation upon request.Nelia, this is not the way you treat a loyal customer that previously had so much respect for you and your business.tl;dr:- became rude and unprofessional as soon as I expressed concerns in quality- refused to take accountability- blames and berates customers- will not make any small effort to keep a loyal and repeated customer happy- no sympathy for customers that receive an unacceptable product

Absolutely in love with my flower arrangements! & despite being short notice, Nelia was beyond pleasant. Above curating someting better than id imagined, she also made my daughter a mini bouquet to feel special too! I appreciate that Neilas shop is local, affordable, and the service highly professional. I definitely recommend her service, she has amazing talent and genuine passion. I look forward to my next visit and will definitely be making this a staple shop.

Being from out of town and looking to find a florist in the Etobicoke area I came about Nelia’s Floral Design. I ordered a special Birthday Bouquet to be arranged and delivered in the area. I communicated with Nelia through emails and she was quickly to respond to my requests. The young lady I sent the bouquet mentioned that the arrangement was “so so beautiful”.The flowers were stunning and the service and communication was top notch. I 100% recommend Nelia’ Floral Design for any floral arrangements. Thank you Nelia

Flowers are pretty and affordable, but the delivery fee is quite expensive for 14$ even though the recipient is in etobicoke as well. Would definitely recommend, but I suggest just going to their shop instead of having it delivered to save some $ :)

Nelia returned my call quickly while she was away on Family Day after I left a message about ordering an arrangement for a funeral. She wanted to make sure it was ready on time. The arrangement was something I picked from her website, but I wanted it upgraded to be a bit fuller. She was very accommodating and the flowers were just beautiful. I’m always nervous ordering online, as I’ve been disappointed on occasion with other florists. I highly recommend Nelia!!

Superb experience ordering flowers from Nelias, the flowers were amazing and like the picture on the website. Service was above expectations as I had a last minute request that they easily accommodated without any extra charge. I will definitely be coming back!

This is my first time ordering from here and I’m so impressed!! I ordered flowers for my mom for Mother’s Day and she loved them! We were both wowed by how beautiful they were. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again.

I've been purchasing flowers here in a while and never disappoint. They managed to do every order i made beyond my expectations. One of the best flower shop in Etobicoke.

I must say that Nelia knows how to please! She put together a gorgeous glittery flower arrangement in a pair of silver glitter shoes, for my niece's bridal shower that was truly a GEM for any bride to be! She also made a stunning and unique arrangement for the mother of the bride who was hosting the shower!Very Professional , excellent customer service and listens to what you really want to express with the flowers.Definitely the place and person to deal with.THANK YOU NELIA!

Nelia was absolutely amazing during our wedding planning process. Her arrangements were perfect and she came to day of and set it all up perfectly! We had to reschedule our wedding last minute and she managed to cancel all our flowers and reschedule everything for the new date without adding any extra cost to us.she was amazing with communication and her talent with flowers is above and beyond. If I could I would give more stars.
