Pros: Good street parking, fully fenced, several well-located entry gates with poop baggies and garbage cans by those gates. You can see the entirety of the park from any point, so it is easy to keep track of your dog. A really nice local person keeps several 4 L pails filled with drinking water for the dogs.Cons: Daylight only - there are no lights that shine directly into the park. Can be sketchy after dark. My dog (my vaccinated dog) got bordatella probably from the communal water pails. No shade, no benches.

Being from out of province and needing a place for my puppy to run off leash, I found it to be great and easy to find from where we are staying. The park was clean, the people I met were friendly and informative regarding pet friendly places for us to go. I will definitely be bringing my pup here for the rest of our stay in the city.

My boyfriend and I recently adopted a dog, and we've been taking him to this park regularly. It gets the job done, because it allows our high-energy pup to play with other dogs without the fear that he'll run too far or out of sight. One hour at this park and our dog is good for the day. The only issue is that it's not always too busy. If no one is there besides you and your dog, there's not much for the dog to do, as there are no trees or anything else to attract them. Also, your dog can't cool off on a hot day unless you bring a giant jug of water. However, it's a basic little run-around area and wrestling rink for your pup to exercise in and socialize with others. Everyone who visits is a dog-lover, so your pal is always safe and well-treated if he or she runs up to another owner. This park conveniently supplies poop bags, so you never have to worry if you happen to forget yours at home.

It's a great dog park for a quick walk and a bathroom break for the dog. Not much in terms of a dog park as it's essentially a big rectangle but wasn't super muddy when we went in the rain. Lots of room for fetch. Better parks in the city but we were near by and figured the dogs could stretch their legs a bit.

I like this park when I have dogs with me that need/want other dogs to play with as this park often seems like it's got a good crowd of pets.

Everyone complains about it and so will I this park stinks, but ones that is out of the way it is very big very spacious dogs have their own space to play and most of the dogs that show up over here are very friendly, it is my go-to park for my dog and she loves it out there, it has three entry or exit points which makes it fairly accessible from different roads or streets.

Nice dog park. Is fenced so your dog can go off leash. Usually there are other people at the park so you do need to keep an eye on your dog. Dog had a great time running around and socializing with other doggos.

Alot of really nice regulars and very friendly dogs, but some people don't try to stop their dog(s) when they get into an altercation (which is bound to happen not all dogs enjoy each other) but if your dog is part of an altercation step in. Either then that it's awesome! Especially in the summer

Meh. As dog parks go, it's very basic. The neighbors are great and keep lots of water in the park, but the whole 2 trees give it a very shabby feel. I like that it's a bit quieter when I just want a casual walk.

My dog was bitten out of no where by this blonde woman's dalmatian. If I see her again I will be approaching her. Everyone should control their dogs when at any park. If you can't you shouldn't be there.Be aware of your children being around this dog as well.
