Family Medicine Urgent Care Centre

I've been to this clinic 3 times so far and have only been treated with respect and kindness. The receptionists are really friendly to me and the doctors are very helpful. I haven't waited more than an hour and a half to be seen.I noticed this office has bad reviews, however, this hasn't been my experience at all. This will continue to be my go to clinic when needed.The doctor I seen today was so friendly and flushed out my ear canal due to an infection. He even drew me a diagram of what my ear looks like and how to properly place the drops.I waited a total of 10 minutes to be seen. Thanks guys for everything!

The receptionist was very helpful and professional. She was smiling very pleasant and told me how long the wait would be. It wasn't a very long wait at all. She is only reason I gave 1 star. I would have given a 0 star rating if it wasn't for her.Now the doctor on duty was very rude and unprofessional and arrogant.I told him why I was there and he told me that since he's never seen me before and doesn't know my health history he can't help me. Now this is a walk in clinic No? I don't have a family doctor in the area as we moved. I was treated very poorly.I will never step foot back in that clinic again.

I really wish negative reviews were a thing. Absolutely discouraged by the treatment I received today. Stood behind someone in line to speak to the receptionist. This other person in line turns out to be a friend of the receptionist and simply moves to the side to allow me to move ahead. As I was trying to discretely ask a question the other person is just standing there. I ask if she would like to go first and continues to stand there.If I come to an urgent care I really don't think friends should be visiting others while working especially when it comes to sensitive information such as personal records. Absolutely aweful and will be following up to ensure that this receptionist with extremely poor service skills is reprimanded for her actions today. Absolutely disgusting.

The doctor was the most condescending and dismissive person I have ever experienced. Was in the room with me for about 30 seconds before prescribing me something with no explanation as to why he was giving me this medication. He didn’t even examine me at all. He sat ACROSS the room instead of inspecting the rash that I had come in to treat. I tried to stand up for myself and advocate for my well-being, as I myself am in the medical field, and he shot down everything the literature said without any explanation except “I’m a doctor. I think I would know.” I cannot stress enough how unhelpful this man was and how upset this experience left me.

I have had mixed experiences at this clinic however my last experience was by far the worst. A few months ago I went in to ask the doctor about a break out I had on my face. The doctor was quick to prescribe me a cream and sent me on my way (I was in the room for less than 5 min.). Today I went back because my break out has returned and I wanted to ask if I should continue with the previously prescribed cream or use a different treatment... this is when the doctor (who originally prescribed the cream) told me that the cream he had prescribed months earlier should NOT be used on the face! Needless to say I will be finding myself a new walk in clinic for the future.All this being said the receptionist was very nice and welcoming! I have also only had experiences with the one doctor (Dr. Chadha) and can not speak about the level of care provided by the other doctors at this clinic.

My new job requires a medical report- I called ahead to ensure they provide this service. Reception took the paperwork, the doctor said they would provide the service for $120. I waited 90+ minutes and once called in, doctor quickly skimmed the paperwork and informed me they don’t carry any colour vision tests on-site so the best he could do was a partial completion of the form (for the full fee). No apology or explanation. This is the second TERRIBLE experience I’ve had at this clinic- I will not be back.

Dr Chadha is absolutely horrible. I should have left when I saw he was there today, but against my better judgement, I stayed. The first time I dealt with him was for my daughter, where he stormed out of the room (hitting my young daughter with the door!), and didn’t come back. Today he did not listen to my symptoms, and forcefully shoved the swab directly into the back of my throat, merely poking it (um, I think you completely missed my tonsils). He completely ignored me when I asked him twice if he would like me to swab my tonsils for him.He is just rude, obviously doesn’t care, and doesn’t listen.

Have visited this urgent Care center several times over the last few years in an effort to avoid the emergency room. The receptionist is friendly and warm. The doctors are efficient and compassionate. Today we were in and out in less than an hour with a prescription we filled quickly next door at Shopper's. That has been my experience on every visit and I would recommend this medical center to anyone who has a simple, urgent medical problem that doesn't require the emergency room and they are unable to see their own doctor. I am very grateful that this clinic is available to us and wish we had something similar in the small town I live closer to. I have had incredibly bad experiences in emergency rooms, especially at kgh, and would avoid going back there except as a very last resort.

Doctor is very rude, went last year having bronchitis and he did not even fully examine me. He just looked at my throat and right away says Oh this is nothing! This is just a virus infection! Don't go out and do random things or else it will take weeks/months for your cold to go away! If you do what I say you should get better in 3-4 days." Very disrespectful and does not know how to do his job properly. He did not even pay attention to how I sounded at all since my voice was extremely deep and low from my bronchitis."

Nice staff, the doctor was kind and friendly. He asked questions and we spoke about a treatment plan together. I have a family doctor downtown, but not feeling well, the last thing I wanted to do was deal with traffic and parking blocks away when this clinic is 5 mins away with ample, free parking. Pleasantly surprised and will definitely be back.
