Tumbler Ridge Visitor Centre

We went to the Tumbler Ridge visitor center on June 23rd. We expected that the visitor center is currently closed but not only was it open but the young lady we talked to helped us a lot. (Sorry I didn't get her name). She took her time and helped us to figure out which trail we are going to do in the Geopark. I enjoyed that she knew what she was talking about and actually making the effort to assist us with deciding on what to do. Thank you a lot!

The staff we spoke to were very friendly and helpful. They have lots of free brochures for hikes in the area. We were surprised they wouldn't take donations because we definitely would have given one to support their work.

Nice Visitor center with gorgeous building centrally located in town. Staff are friendly and helpful, rental options are available, and highlight is excellent assortment of trail maps and guides available for surrounding sites and area.

Most informative info center ever!!Everyone was super friendly and helpful!The info maps are colour coordinated to go with the individual brochures for each hike and waterfall! We had no problem planning out all of our adventures after they gave us all the info we needed!! Everything is so organized! There's cool gifts, and so many beautiful booklets as well! We had a great experience! So excited to explore everything now!!!

A great place to start your day of exploring around tumbler ridge... Maps, advice, and even a souvenir or two!

Make sure you stop at the Visitor Center when you are in Tumbler Ridge. The people there are a wealth of knowledge and there are lots of maps available for any kind of outdoor adventure. (*Be advised* This area is a vast rugged wilderness & I recommend hiring a local guide for an exciting and safe adventure. We went out with Ryan Lamming.) And while you are at the center pick up some unique mementos and gifts. I picked a children's book Learn the Alphabet with West Coast Native Art" and a book about the local history. I also picked up some hand made soaps. Make the Visitor Center one of your first stops in Tumbler Ridge."

Really nice spot with lots of information, great place to browse, find a trail or even rent bikes

Must visit place for getting knowledge of the nearer falls before hiking or trails. They give really good advise of which falls to visit at what time with their latest updates of how is the routes to reach there. Well maintained.

The lady working was super friendly, and showed us a myriad of hiking, walking, and fishing opportunities in the area. The facility is very well kept and has a large amount of information and gifts.
