Dormio Organic Beds Mississauga

We purchased a whole set: king mattress, pillows, wool duvet, and two sets of organic bed sheets. We loved everything about the bed and accessories from the beginning. The organic cotton sheets tore within a week of use, and Dormio replaced them. Unfortunately they tore again months later. We kept them and still used themHowever, even today I find it very difficult to put the sheets from Dormio on the king mattress. The sheets are a very tight fit, it pulls the corners of the bed up, as well as tearing the seam of the sheets. Despite the sheets not fitting well, we still very much enjoyed the bed, however, please take note about washing wool duvet cover. DO NOT WASH! Usually care instructions are found on the tags, however, Dormio does not have care instructions on their tags. Our wool duvet is now ruined. I called customer service to see what my options are and they offered a discount on a new purchase and stated that care instructions are found on the original packaging of the product. They should really include do not wash" on the tags so this doesn't happen to anyone else. This is the first product I have seen that doesn't include the care instructions on the tag. And if it'll ruin a product by washing it

Terrible product and unethical owner and staff that lie. Spent just over $5,000 on mattress and support piece (this was the only item well made with slabs of wood, but is stand alone and doesn’t secure into headboards purchased elsewhere). Also, the legs need staining.The mattress pieces were not the same size. It takes quite a bit of time and strength to fan them out to try to get them to align. Significant mattress dip immediately. I was taking the mattress apart and re-sandwiching it together on a constant basis to try to create an even and supportive sleeping surface. Which is no easy feat assembling the latex.Very weird product as it has significant push back and will make your bones sore, such as hip bone if side sleeper, yet also dips and sinks. This is not a healthy product for the human body to rest on for 8 hours. The owner John stood me up TWICE at the store when we had appointments to meet as the store was not open set hours, but willy-nilly. He is rude, unresponsive and uncooperative. His daughter who also works there lied to me and said that he was on his way to meet me when she had not spoken to him. He then finally called me to say that he was not on his way. When I said I was shocked and disgusted that on top of waiting for a second time(!!) I was lied to by his daughter he became rude and defensive. The whole experience was bizarre and upsetting! Save your money and a terrible experience! I have extreme buyers remorse… I was better off to throw $5,000 out the window! I ended up selling it online for $400 after less than 2 years with it. I endured great stress and anxiety dealing with these people. The mattress protector is also garbage, it ‘thins out’ and ripped when pulling it over the corner, after a few washes. I have never experienced this degree of buyers remorse in my life. Save yourself the experience and shop elsewhere is my advice.

My Dormio mattress went from arguably the best mattress I've ever had to the worst mattress I've ever had in a few years. The 3 inch foam cover along with the foam layers underneath now have inexcusable sag and imbalance. Their policy claims they support a 10 year warranty and they need a visible 1.5 drop in the foam to offer replacements even if the entire bed is warped. My back problems has never been worst. Do not recommend.

We've just woken up after spending a great night sleep on our new Dormio bed. BEST organic mattress you will find. Hands down.All the other mattress companies that sell organic mattresses that don't off-gas and have natural latex simply copied what Dormio led the industry on 10+ years ago. How do I know? We bought three of their mattresses - a king and two queens with wool topper 10 years ago and I can personally tell you that they are as comfortable today as they were then. In fact, they are so comfortable, we recently went back and got another King size bed that we have now been sleeping on for the last week! It is truly like sleeping on a cloud. Best. Sleep. Ever.Dormio is family run and truly cares about you and your needs - and they are more knowledgeable than ANY other store you'll go to. They were pioneers in the industry and that brings years of experience that you get the benefit of. You simply can't compare going to Simba in Sherway or Naturepedic or Essentia to coming here - I can guarantee it. I can't say enough good things about them - their products are second to none.If you sleep beside somebody who sleeps hotter than a furnace, the wool dissipates the heat like you've never experienced before. We also have one of their beds in a tropical climate and the damp from the ocean air doesn't even absorb into the mattress or topper.I have told several friends about them and would recommend them to anyone who is concerned about having a healthier night sleep because you are currently sleeping on a mattress that is off-gassing from having been treated with flame retardants (yes, most are) or off-gassing from gel and memory foam doing the same.While the selection in the store of the many type of beds is dizzying given how many different ways you can interchange the organic latex and thicknesses with various toppers and fill, it is an education that the people who work there and the owners are only too willing to help you navigate for you to make an informed choice.

They have a great selection of pillows and helped us choose which ones were right for each one in our family . We are very happy with what we chose and are sleeping well.

My wife and I bought the Nottingham mattress model back in November 2017, we also picked up a mattress topper, with a Kapok pillow and buckwheat pillow, clearwater sun duvet, bamboo sheet sets. We were absolutely happy with the products we got. Worth every penny spent. 3 years later we can’t imagine sleeping on any other kind of mattress or using any other bedding product. Margaret helped us with the sale at the time and it was a fantastic shopping experience, very helpful with questions, let us take our time to try different mattresses out. Dormio has a customer for life, and we’ve referred family and friends. We have a baby on the way now and we’re going back to ensure our beansprout has the best possibly sleeping products as well.
