Salmonier Country Manor
On vacation in Newfoundland exploring the Avalon and Irish Loop. We were going to a show in a neighbouring town and the Manor was recommended to us for a place to stay. Kelly and Lucy treated us so well that we decided to go back at the other end of our trip to Newfoundland for one more night. The rooms are decorated so nice! Was hard to pick which one to stay in! We had our supper there both times (cod tongues of course!!) and the complimentary breakfast was yummy (homemade jam! and toast) Would definitely go back next time we are in the area!! Lucy treated us like family! Hugs to her!! Highly Recommend!

Salmonier Country Manor
Our time at Salmonier Country Manor was very special. We stayed at the Suite and found it very well-appointed, warm, and comfortable. Our breakfasts and dinners were prepared and served with great attention and care. Kelly is an amazing host and we would absolutely love to stay at her beautiful place again. Highly recommended!

Salmonier Country Manor
This BnB has it all - beautiful location by the Salmonier River, gorgeous house and comfortable rooms, attentive and caring hosts, plus simple, fresh and carefully prepared food! They even let me sample some local crab - caught by Sam only a few days ago!This was my first stay in Newfoundland and Kelly and Sam blew me away with their genuine kindness and hospitality. They went way above and beyond what’s expected of a BnB owner, even tried to find accommodation for me within their own social circle in the next town! They set the tone right for my weeklong visit to Newfoundland, and I will always remember them with fondness and will try to return.If you take the ferry to Argentia, don’t just rush to St. John’s on trans-Canada Highway; take the 93 along Salmonier Arm river, then Route 10 to do the Irish Loop. Spend a night at this wonderful BnB and enjoy the authentic Newfoundland food and hospitality!

Quiet and calm location. An old manor with a lot of history. Kind host. Very clean place. Nice porch to enjoy a warm coffee in the sun while enjoying the view. I'd like to give 4,5 stars.

Salmonier Country Manor
This is a gorgeous little inn. Very comfortable rooms, impeccably clean and the view is stunning. We arrived after a long day of exploring and hiking and enjoyed hot showers and the freshest, most lovely homemade Newfoundland-style dinner, dessert and coffee thanks to the lovely hostess Lucy. This inn is a real gem.

Sam and Kelly are warm, welcoming hosts! The bed was very comfortable and the house is filled with beautiful paintings and furniture. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend.
