Rumi’s Resto and Chocolate Bar

I have done take out a couple of times. Not impressed. My crispy calamari was greasy and soggy. I could not eat. Then I ordered a large fry for $9 and the container was only half full and not enough for 2 people. Taste was good but very expensive for what I relieved.

Amazing food and outstanding service ! Very welcoming atmosphere and so accommodating to all our dining needs. Food was fresh, hot with huge portions and very fair prices. Cant wait to come back and try some other items on the menu !!

Everything on the menu is amazing and the portions are huge. My favourite spot for lunch or dinner (dinner menu has EVERYTHING you can imagine!).

My friend and I tried this restaurant this evening. I have absolutely in my 70 years of life NEVER encountered a server as rude as we experienced tonight. Every time he came to our table and we tried to ask him something, he just walked away mid sentence before we could ask the most simple questions. This occurred throughout the meal. When he did actually answer us, he spoke so ridiculously fast that we could not understand what he said. The food was fine, I had the lamb souvlaki for which he tried to overcharge me and still argued with me when I showed him the price on the menu. The serving was generous but many pieces of the lamb were filled with sinew and could not be cut never mind eaten. My friend had the spicy thai noodle dish and found it to be delicious. Bottom line, even if they served the best food that I have ever eaten, I would not go again due to the outrageous rudeness of the male server. They clearly need more staff but who could work with this guy??????????????????????? It will be interesting to see how long they last. I noticed that they do a lot of takeout orders, maybe people have learned not to eat in the restaurant. RESPONSE TO OWNER COMMENTS This place continues to demonstrate that they know nothing about customer service. The server was OUTRAGEOUSLY rude throughout our visit. Then, he had the audacity of telling me I was rude when I questioned the charge on my bill. It is not a matter of affording or not, I questioned the bill because it was a different price than the menu. We spoke to a young woman at the restaurant who told us that she worked there for one day and quit because of their environment. They are upset because I left no tip as NO tip was deserved. You missed the point entirely the 1 star review was a result of the terrible service not the food.

I am surprised by how rude the individual I was served by was! Be aware, the food pictured on the website is not what it actually looks like. Descriptions are embellished to sound better than they are. Much is just regular frozen food that is deep fried. Very disappointed.

Not the best option for take out. Dining in may be better. Food orders have been mixed up a couple of times. Quality of the food (ingredients used, etc) is quite good and nice to have variety in our small town.

Our experience at Rumis resto and chocolate bar was AMAZING!!! They were committed to great service and incredibly friendly! The quality of the food was top tier, and the atmosphere was perfect. Most importantly the food was delicious, affordable & worth every single penny! We ordered the jambalaya, calamari rings, wings & French fries and every meal was cooked to perfection, juicy, and full of flavour! Definitely coming back here regularly, I can’t wait to try out more items on the menu!

Best meal we’ve had out so n a long time. So excited to have this quality of restaurant in our little town. Our food was fresh, cooked to perfection and such great flavour. We will be back very soon.

Great food and fair prices. I hope the community continues to support this restaurant. I know our family will and keep ordering take out. The restaurant is small but comfortable for dining is as well.
