ABL Employment

I’ve had a fantastic experience with ABL so far, they’ve been extremely accommodating and Dofasco has been a great place to work. The entire staff are extremely friendly, I’ve been mostly dealing with Michelle and she’s been wonderful! She’s helped me figure out/correct issues multiple times and is always very nice.

The absolute worst employment quote-unquote service in Hamilton and probably within Southern Ontario. Unless they need you for something they are completely unresponsive and unreliable. They made me go through a whole online document process getting a criminal background check in a whole bunch of other things for a job they said I had and once I completed the paperwork never heard from them again even after repeated phone calls and emails to them.

Thank you for your help and efforts during the process. You have been very helpful and held my hand to go through every single step. I am very grateful to have you as my agent(courtney & april ruiz) and I will definitely recommend my friends to seek your help in the future when they need to find a job. Thanks again for everything! I'm so thankful to abl employment that they helped me getting job while this very tough recession period.

This is the best temp service I’ve ever worked for the staff is so friendly and understanding. If you don’t like some thing, they will not force you to do it, and they will help you on your path to success or any goals that you may have.

i worked for ABL for about 4 months and my experience was absolutely amazing. the staff, coordinators as well as people in the phone (Andrew and Katelyne) were great! my coordinator Becky made the work environment a very safe and positive one! definitely recommend working with ABL if you’re looking for work through an agency with flexible hours :)

I worked on and off for abl for years.The staff were always great to deal with and the majority of them went above and beyond to be understanding and accommodating in every experience I had with them.If you want temporary work or are looking for something long term, they will help you get there if you're willing to put in the work.

ABL employment is a very professional company. I did work with them around one and half year and I had to leave for some my personal reasons. However, the staff is very friendly and it was the first place in Canada where I got respectful behaviour every day. They never bother about shifts and give proper work to everyone according to their availability. Now, my husband just started working with them and I hope he will also have a best experience with them.

I went to training week ago took time off another temp job to go. This whole week they said they have shift starting and nothing. Wasted a week of possible work when I need money. I have texted and called and they never answer phone. Called more than 5 times. I don’t know why I have to explain to them to not play games with work and lying about things.Wednesday January 11, I walk into office to ask about their placements. Was told to come in Thursday for training for Dofasco. I go and they tell me when I get there, didn't I get message its not today it's Friday. I wasted 2 days not going to another placement because of this. They said they would start the Dofasco shifts the upcoming weeks and they only happen once a month so complete training and testing which I did out of my own time no pay.Got no reply back, no notification, no email explaining anything about the shifts upcoming. They had over 12 people training for this placement. I am 100% sure that they called most of them and they are working at the plant as I spoke to few. I didn't get the call but was promised that. Now the problem I have, the whole weekend and week I called and emailed. Even if they say they are busy, they can reply and notify at least. This hurts now missing whole week of work one week before rent. They will not compensate anything and not even reply or apologize. The most disappointing thing is I had a placement for the week before them, but I canceled due to promise of work which was not true.I cant believe they did this to me because they seemed so nice talking to them and going in person but the behavior I received was just terrible. THIS HURTS ALOT. THANKS.

One of the best Employers in the town,All most everyone stands besides you in your good or bad. Always ready to Help you, good weekly wages gives you a chance to plan your week. Understand your situation very quickly.My journey with ABL is great, I never missed my happiness, my personal space, time & pay.You can get free CSE training, Harness training and Height training which would look great on resume for the the next job. And tie up with DOFASCO also makes it even more qualified.I got my new job because of all the training, experience with dofasco through ABL employmentABL employment! We are a family.
