The Mobile Shop

My husband and I switch from Rogers to public mobile about 3 - 4 months ago and we're happy with them other than their 3G speeds.While we are grocery shopping last Saturday (Feburary 12, 2022) we decided to stop into the Mobile Shop and see if they could give us a better deal and hopefully benefit from PC points.The guy that was working that day was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. He found us a plan with freedom mobile that saved us about $25 a month and gave us 4G speeds and what seemed like reasonable minutes and data.We were pleased.Then he told me it was with Freedom Mobile and I asked about zones as I know that is what kept me from signing up years ago when they were still Wind Mobile. I did not like the concept of the zones.He proceeded to assure me that zones were no longer a thing and I would have plenty of coverage.We very willingly signed up believing we would be getting a better service than we had.BIG MISTAKE!!!Yesterday, (Feburary 16, 2022) 4 days after signing up for this plan, I received an email from Freedom explaining my plan and that I would have 10GB of data while in a Freedom Zone " and that my plan did not include data in the "National Zone".As it turns out

It was my first experience with the Mobile shop. I stopped in for some info where Mustafa politely greeted me. I had no intentions of purchasing at this time. Mustafa explained clearly and precisely offers available to me. He was very kind and patient with me which I very much appreciated. As a result I purchased the pkg he suggested. I will continue to visit the Mobile shop simply and solely because of Mustafa. I wish all employees were as kind and patient as he was. With many thanksSincerely Annette

Carlos and Syed are awsome, how ever when i picked up my s10, the person working then just handed me the phone when i opened the box i accidently turned on the phone, when i told the guy working what happened he said next time put the sim card in first, i had no clue how to do this or how to swtich my data from my s8 to the s10. Went i whe Syed was working and he made the switch for me. Now when i need to go in i will only deal with either Carlos or Syed the other person cant recall his name i found him a bit rude.

Such an amazing team at this Mobile Shop! Special shout out to Neil for being super patient with me, explaining and working out the best deal for me to be had. Highly recommend to give them your time when deciding your next phone/plan purchase.

Carlos provided great service when my partner and I visited the store to get a new phone and plan. He provided information not previously made apparent to the two of us during a previous visit, which would’ve lead to headaches later down the road. Thanks for all your help, we’re super happy with our recent purchase!

Brought my relatively new phone back. Was told the router or the motherboard were broken & I needed a new phone. Still owed $204 on my phone. My monthly bill went up to $60/month. Took the phones back in the next day, different employee. He removed the blue filter from my old phone and it works fine! Now I am stuck with 2 phones & a higher bill!

Got my cell phone plan + device at this location for two Black Fridays in a row. Abdul was very knowledgeable, provided exceptional service and displayed genuine enthusiasm every single time! Sometimes they have long line ups but I guess it proves how good they are at what they do..

When I was there to return my cell phone on black Friday the guy was kind a rude and misbehaving. It looks that he is still working in a shop of back home country.

Can't say enough good things about the people who work at the wonderland/southdale location. They have always gone over and above my expectations.Daniel is so generous with his knowledge and time. I never seem to get the same staff a second time. And it's ok, because they're always accommodating and friendly!
