My son was at another daycare but I wasn't happy with the cleanliness or the facility so I moved him to Preschool Canada and I'm so glad I did. The best daycare in Pickering! Highly recommend!

I don’t know where to start from , I still cannot wrap around my head what I experienced with them ,Anything could have happened .So my son had just started going there he is just a year old .So my husband dropped him and we were suppose to pick him up an hour after , but I finished my work early and I went to pick him 10 minutes prior to his schedule time .What I saw my eyes couldn’t believe him just being a year old a lady was holding his arms up and his feet almost 3 ft up and swinging him by his arms , how could you he is just a year old this could have been a lifetime injury and he crying so much there were three other days ,how come nobody stopped her .and when he came to me his forehead was RED , fully red when I am asking her that heartless female is not telling me anything she is like I don’t know how I asked her how come you don’t know how and when ,Finally another lady comes in and she said you know what he is continuously banging his head to a door for 40 minuets and I was like did you not stop him to that she responds he was not listening,He is a year old you need to stop him he is not gonna listen , Tomorrow if he tries to do anything that meant that will let him .They will always tell you need to inform us when you are coming to pick your child up .Please DO NOT SHOW UP ON EXACT TIME , this is for your child’s safety .

My little one had social anxiety, stranger anxiety, and separation anxiety when I had to go back to work and she started her daycare in the infant room. She is 21 months now, and she runs to her classroom happily in the morning. She talks about how she wants to go to daycare every morning, saying her friends' names, sometimes on weekends. Sending her to daycare was absolutely the hardest thing I had to do since her birthday and seeing her this happy and willing to go to daycare is so satisfying. I truly appreciate the efforts of every single member in this daycare for making this place a happy warm environment for our children.Big classes with lots of natural light, good air conditioning. They have fun, innovative activities in their daily schedule like personal toys days, different fun scientific experiences planned for some days, water play day, fun plans to wear different types of clothing like funny hats, pyjamas, international clothes, etc. These events were more frequent in summer, I wish they could continue that into winter too.The teachers share about your little one's day, how they ate, or if they had a good or bad day. They give you reports by hour on transition days when a child is changing a classroom, which as a mom was very important for me to know, and they were honest about it.One other important thing for me is that my little one is having fun. I don't like too much discipline for a child of her age. Enough discipline but mostly experiencing everything with her hands and colors and toys and different artworks and activities, I don't care if she has paint on her clothes when I pick her up, it actually makes me happy. I believe this has a huge effect on her brain development, and that's how they do it in this daycare.

Regarding Shazia Maknoo’s review. I witnessed the entire incident from the beginning to the end as we both arrived at the exact same time to pick up our kids from the infant room.First off, I would like to say that I’m glad your baby is ok however the incident did not occur exactly how you have described it. When you arrived your child was simply brought over to you, there was no swinging 3 ft up in the air as you’ve indicated. Yes, he was crying but that’s because it was his first day. All kids including my own daughter cried the very first day as well as many days afterwards, it’s normal.Yes, your child’s forehead was red from banging his head on the door. But no one ever said that he continuously did it for 40 mins. You were told that he would crawl to the door and start banging his head but that he would be removed and then crawl right back over and do it again. The so called ‘heartless’ lady only said she did not know what happened because she specifically told you that she was not present in the room during the entire time but the other ladies were and they told you what happened. They daycare has NEVER ever said to me that I must notify them prior to my arrival. If that was true would they be giving parents their own FOB’s (remote control key) to enter the building whenever they wanted? I am allowed to pop in whenever I want to during the day and as many times as I want to. I am also allowed to call as many times during the day as I wish to see how my daughter's day is going. You have based your entire review on your son’s very first day and only one whole hour that he spent at the daycare. My daughter has been going there for months now and she loves it. The ladies including the Director, Lorraine are all amazing and do everything they can to make your child happy and comfortable. I would definitely recommend Preschool Canada to other parents.

The staff are fantastic and really care about all of the kids at the daycare. Also very attentive to the needs of each individual child. I am comforted leaving my kids in their care each week day.

Well today was my son, Gabriel's last day at Preschool Canada, and we are so happy to be ending on a high note. We can't thank you enough for welcoming Gabriel with open arms and providing care for him that is second to none. Both my husband and I could head off to work knowing that our angel would be in good hands. Regardless of Gabriel's special needs, all of your expectations of him were always high and you were always flexible and willing to make any accommodations to help meet his maximum potential. You took the time to recognize how bright and capable he is, and for this, I thank you immensely. In the short time that he was with you, we observed Gabriel to be more content and comfortable, and he flourished with his daily living skills, communication, and socialization. As inclusivity was modelled daily in the classroom, the children too picked up on that which was wonderful. They greeted Gabriel when he walked in and hugged him and saidgood-bye as we left. You have all built a community were everyone is accepted, loved, and included. You were open to professionals providing recommendations for Gabriel's learning and utilized them effectively and efficiently. I can only hope that Gabriel's new teachers will work tirelessly like all of you do and demonstrate the love you have for my son. Keep up the amazing work and know that you have definitely made and will continue to make a positive impact on the lives of children. And btw, thank you for taking the time during those busy pick-up hours to stop and hug my son....means more than you know! You made him smile everyday! We will definitely come back to visit and share all of his future successes.

My daughter started in September and it is a bitter sweet moment that this will be her last month as she will take the Summer off and begin kindergarten. From the very first email Mrs. Lorraine has been very help. Our meetings were exciting for my daughter and she was welcomed and adjusted very quickly! She absolutely loves her time there and sometimes doesn't want to leave. In the mornings she will ask is it a school day" with the hugest smile on her face. She has been fortunate to bond with many teachers there and sincerely loves them. I know she will miss them and the friends she's made very much. Thank you everyone for such a wonderful experience for our daughter."
