Prices are rediculously high! Visited for the first time last Saturday & will be my last!

If I'm in the area, I always make time to shop. Their inventory is always quality items....and you never know just what you'll find! Over the past couple of decades, I've purchased solid wood furniture....a pair of beautiful night stands, a tall dresser, a buffet (now converted into a TV/Entertainment unit). I've also bought art work (John Perry Sculpture), framed pictures, jewellery and wonderful knick knacks. Granted, items come in randomly (yet steadily lol) but stock must meet the owners discerning eye and it shows on their store floor. Some days I find a treasure trove, lesser times not but it's always a great time browsing their wares. I've always found the staff pleasant and helpful....even under harried conditions.

Husbands beware! This is my wife's favorite spot. Especially good for small pieces of furniture and paintings. (But I'm often the one getting out of there with a looking-like-new travel guide...)

New ownership. Now a lot more variety, but quite a lot of items priced far higher than I am willing to pay. This has understandably changed from the previous owner's tenure. I used to visit this store several times per week, however, with the prices listed these days, I have no interest investing the time to shop here. I do not recall the last time I visited. This is not to say that other people will not enjoy/willing to pay the prices [at] the current Consignment World. I do recommend that you check it out. Its just the past (wonderful) experiences there are now in the past. The future is here, and I'm afraid that the Consignment World I've known and loved has also retired with the previous owners.

I love doing a browse in this store ; there usually is a great selection of household items for the home decorating enthusiast ,plus good prices - lots of interesting and useful finds . Wonderful , unique vintage items turn up , including jewelry & handbags . Rarely do I leave without some fun find in my hand !

I love this place so much. It's amazing what you can find for cheap and secondhand. We found some absolutely adorable salt and pepper shakers and a soap dish.

A phenomenal selection of ever-changing quality merchandise from furniture, fine crystal and kitchenware to art work, fine china and jewelry. Absolutely something for everyone's tastes. I come here once every other week and receive lovely, personalized service.

Very helpful staff but...I put a hold on something only to find that it had been sold to someone else. Was told there were 2 Holds put on the same piece!? How does that happen? If I had been told that, I would have paid for the item in full and the onus is on us to pick it up. Moral...don't rely on them holding your merch!!
