The captain and her crewman were very friendly and helpful with information about riding our bikes to the falls. We had a very pleasant ride across the canal.

Never had a bad experience. Bring a face mask to wear, but it is not enclosed. It's free, but they do ask where I live, probably for keeping records. Sometimes quicker than waiting to cross at the lift bridge!

Very cool little ferry that runs between the two docks across the Welling canal for bikes and people. The people are very friendly.

An amazing place to start a bike ride or end a bike ride on the canal. Operators are super nice and talkative. It’s a quick but enjoyable pontoon boat ride for about 3-5 min.When we went they had a turtle on board! Speedy was his name.

I had no idea this existed until I happened to stumble across it on a walk. Very convenient considering the lack of bridges close by, the staff on the ferry were kind and informative too.
