Dave has been our strata manager since May. And needless to say he was kind of thrown into it very last minute. He stepped up to the plate with great ease. And we have been very happy working along side him. He is very professional and personable which gives us confidence as council to know things are getting done. Our condo strata works with Dave Bring from Quay Pacific property management. He's very responsive and is quick to answer phone calls and respond to my emails. We've had some unique situations and it has been great to be able to call on him to get the contractors to be present and timely with their work at our building. Dave works alongside his assistant Alona who is also very responsive in getting out group emails and finding all the info that I need from day to day.I'm fairly new to the role of president on our council and it has been great to be able to rely on Dave's professionalism and advice on the many situations that arise.I'm very happy with Dave and the support staff from QPPM, they make my job so much easier!

We moved to a townhouse (Ashbury & Oak) that is managed by Quay Pacific 7 months ago. The strata manager at the time was the worst to deal with as he would reply to an email two weeks later with irrelevant answers, never return calls etc. I was getting frustrated and was wondering why I needed to pay $280+ every month.But Dave Bring took over as the new Sr Strata Manager a few months ago and everything has changed since then.Instead of taking two weeks to reply to an email without a resolution, Dave replies back on the day of or the next business day with a resolution.If an issue cannot be resolved right away, he follows up later when the issue is resolved.Just this morning, I had a question to ask and called him but reached his voicemail. I sent him a message and he called me back two hours after and resolved my issue on the spot.Dave is very professional and responsive.Koodos to Quay Pacific PM for having Dave on their team.

Update: I’m glad you made time to reply to my review in such an unprofessional way, yet my mother has yet to hear back about the money she is owed since your “management” asked for proof which was promptly provided.Nothing but problems with dealing with strata, we had to pay out of pocket for our deck to be replaced because they refused and then two years later they say numerous decks in our complex need to be replaced again and it’s at no cost to owner. We have yet to receive compensation from them or even a proper response regarding reimbursement. We have sent proof via email and nothing. Then they fail to inform us that the replacement isn’t happening this week due to a shortage in parts. My mother had to take three days off of work to let them in per strata (or leave a house key with some rando in our home) then they don’t even let us know that it has been postponed.They like to heavily fine certain units for “speeding” (even though they’ve broken the law by placing speed bumps too high and initially without painted markers) (vehicles have been damaged) but others go unpunished for continually breaking strata rules even with picture proof by parking in visitor parking overnight for months).We have lived in several strata complexes and never in our lives have we ever had this many issues with strata and their incompetence.

Our property manager Chad Hunter will not return emails or phone calls. Complete disregard for the people he is suppose to work for. We paid to get trim painted and they removed a board from my deck and didnt repair it properly. No answer to emails. We have a gutter thats not fastened ...2 weeks now , no response. Someone needs to make this right and reach out to us. We live in Uptown Clayton heights.

According to this company, or our property manager Cyrille Stoelzaed, when there is a leak incident happened, it must from the upstairs and it is the upstairs unit’s responsibility to investigate and fix the problem. Even after the plumbers reported there was no fault found in the upstairs unit, you still pay the bill, “since it did happen ,we just don’t know what caused it”. When you express your concern about the cause and what would happen if there is another leak reported, you receive no response for weeks. You have to continuously follow up to get a response. Finally, after more than one month, we got a response that “the leak has already dried out so there is no way to trace it back to the source.” Good luck everyone in Coquitlam Obelisk.

The Worst strata management company in my life!!!! Don't make contract. If you sign a contract with this company in any condo or townhouse, you will want to cancel within one year. It's really slow and doesn't work properly.

Dave Bring, property manager, for Quay Pacific has been a pleasure to work with. He is very approachable and communicates well with owners and council, even in difficult situations. Dave and his assistant, Alona, are very organized and quick to respond to all our inquires. He has a good rapport with vendors and is on top of any maintenance issues or upgrades. Overall, we would definitely recommend Dave and Quay Pacific.

[Update 2023/06/07] The moment I caught sight of Adma's reply on May 26, 2023, I didn't hesitate to shoot back a message. And yet, here I am, waiting in frustration again for over 10 tedious days without a single word from Geoffrey regarding my request :(I am utterly appalled and furious at the abysmal service provided by our Building Manager, Geoffrey Rosen. His behavior was beyond unprofessional and shamelessly unethical when handling my cases. He demonstrated a complete lack of responsibility and incompetence in thoroughly investigating the situation, carelessly issuing me a warning without any valid bylaw violations. To make matters worse, when I confronted him, he couldn't even muster the decency to point out the specific sections I allegedly violated, resorting to outright lies about the evidence against me. Adding insult to injury, he callously disregarded my questions in my email, showing a blatant disregard for my concerns. It is beyond infuriating that he has yet to offer any semblance of an apology and continues to obstinately refuse to rescind the preposterous warning. I implore you to avoid this company at all costs – it is a breeding ground for incompetence and injustice.

Our current experience with Quay Pacific and PM, Dave Bring, is very positive. We feel our past issues were listened to and resolved. Our PM is organized, meets deadlines and responds to correspondence quickly. He is almost always available by phone and returns calls quickly if he is not. He contacts our vendors when necessary and is on top of our maintenance schedule and finances. Management has also been very helpful when dealing with difficult situations. Overall, we are now very pleased with the level of service we are receiving from Quay Pacific.
