We hired Robert and his guys do do our driveway and parking lot in may of 2019. They never came back to sweep up all the loose gravel. So I still have a gravel driveway. He told me it would be just like the road when they finished". He said they would return in 3 weeks to sweep up all the loose gravel and roll it again. That was 5 months ago. He will not return calls or text messages."

I'm am beyond unhappy!! A salesman named Robert knocked on my door last fall and convinced me I needed a new driveway. Mine is extremely steep and long. It's at my cottage. Several of my neighbours also signed up with him. He charged me 15K. for the job. Lifetime warranty he said. Well, I can't even get up my driveway now, my car slides down it and I have hit a tree with it. My guests now have to park at the top and walk down with all their stuff to get to my cottage. I was in contact with Robert in the spring when he was still answering his phone. He told me the materials he used were faulty and he'd redo the job by September for me. He admitted it was a problem right out to me and had been in touch with the manufacturer of the rubber material he used, and they said it was a faulty batch. All of my neighbours have the same problem now. The gravel is all lose and there's no traction for cars or any vehicles to get up the hill. I never heard back from Robert again. I've left at least 50 messages and texts, as have my neighbours. No reply, nothing!! He's a crook!!! Beware!! He comes across as the nicest guy in the world, assuring you that your'e getting a better deal than any of your neighbours and its a lifetime warranty. Well it isn't. Nobody answers the phone at Federal Asphalt either. I've written directly to them and called their main number in London and have asked for their owner/CEO to contact me. Haven't heard a thing. Unfortunately, I'm going to have to get lawyers involved now. It looks great but is totally useless. I wasted 15K and frankly had a perfectly fine asphalt driveway before these guys destroyed it. BEWARE of these crooks!! Especially their salesman named Robert!! I'm in the Kawarthas, but I believe he works all over southern and eastern Ontario. Hopefully the CEO will read this and reach out to me from the email and phone number I sent him. I've posted a picture I took a few weeks ago. You can't see anything wrong with the driveway. It looks great. It just can't be used. You can see how steep it is though. It's also had quite a few leaves on it when I took the picture but the driveway has been unusable since June.

They showed up on time. The crew was friendly and did an amazing professional job. If you need paving done this is the company to call.

Federal Asphalt came and did our parking lot and we couldn't be happier. No more nasty, tire deep potholes or customer complaints! 10/10 would refer to any one needing some asphalt.

Federal completed a number of driveways in our neighborhood in the fall of 2018 and they all failed to last the winter. The tar disappeared and we were only left with the stones. We have tried on numerous occasions to contact the company and the few times we were successful Robert offered dates to repair but each time the dates were missed. Apparently their warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. Beware of this company.

The sales manager is easy to communicate with and answers calls promptly, which is why they got the job. Our new tar and chip roadway looks good.

they did an excellent job repairing and chipsealing our driveway. very punctual, great attention to detail and reasonably priced! we are very happy, our driveway looks like new again!

I would recommend doing business with these folks. The work was done on time within the discussed budget without any issues.

Federal Asphalt came to do our laneway for our cottage, which was no small task since its so big and long, and they were fast and hard! It made such a difference we couldn't be happier. It's nice to find ppl who believe in their work! Especially at a fair price! Thanks Federal Asphalt!
