Thank you, Durham Housing Specialists!We spoke with Dan just over a year ago (just before the pandemic)We knew we were going to renovate the basement and the ductwork was done horribly (what do you expect from a house that was built in the late 70's, when heating and cooling was just an afterthought). After a previous reno we lost the air returns from the second floor (wall removal, flush beam). There was also never any air returns in the bedrooms, which made the air quality feel very stuffy / stale especially our master bedroom which was the furthest away from the furnace.We also needed the entire heater unit moved back 4 feet away from a wall and the A/c moved to the other side of the wall so we could create a walkout to the basement.After lots of debates we ended up choosing the Trane product line (we splurged a bit, peace of mind for the next 15 years, hopefully). Furnace, AC and Tankless water heater.Dan and his team took the time to really understand the issues, our needs and wants and we all worked together to create a final solution! Dan’s team (Mark and Mark) were very respectful of our home and did a great job to create a solution we are very happy with. They even made sure we had minimal down time of systems. All during the pandemic lockdown which made planning even more tedious.After they completed the work all we can say is it’s fabulous and such a dream to have even cooling though out the house! Very quick to respond and reasonably priced. Did the work (gas valve replacement) very quickly and showed me how they tested it to make sure there was no gas leaking as it was my major concern of mine with the repair. Will definitely be using them for any future issues we have with out heating or gas appliances. They also installed the dryer free of charge which was one less hassle for me. Very pleased overall

Typical, when the weather gets hot and you turn on the AC, it doesn’t work!Dan was very quick to respond to a message we put on a local Facebook neighbourhood page. Dan done a thorough diagnostics and found multiple problems with my AC unit, but mainly with my Furnace circuit board, he worked over three visits to correct. Now we have cool air. They are very professional, had my new furnace installed perfectly. The installation guys came right on time, explained me everything before starting and did the installation job nicely. It was not a easy one to fit the furnace in my narrow space. But they took their time and finished it to my satisfaction.

Dan was so professional and transparent. He took the time to explain the work that needed to be done as well as the cost breakdown. We needed our AC coil replaced and gases topped up.
