Great location right at the beach with a super friendly staff!And not because they háve to be friendly.No, because they automatically are friendly, from the hearth.Genuine, honoust and fun staff all over the hotel!As soon as you enter the lobby?The first thing you see is their smiles.And then the great scent/smell hits your nose; amazing!A breeze of fresh air with a spectaculair view!Great entrance!The rooms are great with a balcony.The little things in the room are super deluxe, like Nespresso café, vanilla bath salt, nice bodylotion, etc.The restaurant serves good food.Nextdoor is a bald eagle santuary.And a pool.And if you walk down the shoreline, there is a promenade to walk on. Go there!Closeby is a midget golf park for kids and adults to enjoy, just around the corner.And you are close to downtown with stores and fastfood.The hotel also has some art hanging.Great stay, thanks!

Such a phenomenal experience, the cottage was beautifully prepared and stocked with all the essentials for our weekend away. The staff were friendly and informative. Everything ran smoothly and we will absolutely be back.Thank you Kindly for such a great weekend.

Made a reservation here about 10 months ago, a week before my arrival they inform me the unit I reserved was no longer available.Got downgraded to a much smaller unit where I had to share a loft with my 2 kids and 2 dogs. Needless to say no one got any sleep.My new unit was also away from where the rest of my party was staying.Disappointing to have made the reservation so far in advance only to have it changed like this at the last minute.

This resort is absolutely amazing. Have stayed here a few different times - some with just my family and kids and other times travelling with friends - and each time we were able to find a cabin that was perfect. For kids, the indoor pool is great, and the beach is easy walking distance (or you can drive down and park). I also liked having the mini-golf so close to the resort.

Oceanside Village Resort is easily accessible from Highway 19 on Vancouver Island. Less than 15 minutes from the freeway you are in your suite. (Take note that there are three access roads to the cottages and choose your road according to the sign post number options. I got lost in the dark my first try.)Pool is great. (Smaller than Olympic, but bigger than hotel.) Hot tub too. Rathtrevor Beach is 15 minutes walk or a couple minutes' drive away. Wonderful walking along the Pacific shore and through the tall, tall Douglas Fir interspersed with Red Cedar.Cottages have two bedrooms downstairs with shared bathroom. One bedroom/den (open to below) with private bath up. Deck with barbeque out back. Ten minutes to shopping north or south. Thirty minutes' access to city shopping, shows, night life; and similar to coastal forest, wild sand beaches, wet rainfall forests.

One of my absolute favorite places to go on vacation! Amazing location (short drive to Rathtrevor Beach), clean, modern, beautiful cottages. Only small thing I would suggest is adding an A/C unit because heat waves can be quite warm!

Highly recommend it! Ocean so close, and grocery stores too. The rathtrevor beach is so magical, sandy, shallow water too. Shades, sun, benches, camping, bathrooms.. You can have it all! Best place on earth!

We have spent so many amazing summers here with our family! Quiet, clean and well appointed cottages, pool in the complex, walking distance to Ice Cream and Rathtrevor Park, and a quick bicycle ride into town.
