The Meathead Store Mississauga Heartland

I was trying out their breakfast sausages (beef and chicken) and the round breakfast sausages. I do NOT recommend anyone purchasing those items. The sausages cooked from frozen kept on sticking and burning onto my non stick pan and the taste wasn’t that great overall after all that mess.The round sausage more like false advertising. More like a cracker and all three patties are smushed together in one package. The amount of mess just to cook one simple patty, along with sticking and burning onto my non stick pan, is not worth it at all.Don’t purchase any of these breakfast items.I hope they can work and improve on this.

Great service l. Great variety. Glad one location is opened in Mississauga have been going since Scarborough. Variety is amazing. It’s not for everyone as most don’t really understand steaks and cook well done . Glad to see we don’t see any pork or disgusting cuts. Very clean and friendly.

This is a great, accessible place for folks to get their hands on a large variety of halal, hand-slaughtered, quality, and surprisingly well-priced meat items. From ribs and steaks to deli meats and beef jerky, this place does it all.The store is clean and welcoming. I had a great time simply browsing the different items on display. Items were clearly labeled and organized.I ended up buying an assortment of sausage, deli meats, and Angus chuck beef patties. These were all sealed and packaged perfectly, and I received fantastic feedback from friends at a recent cottage trip on the quality and taste of the meat items.I've been to the store twice, and each time the owner Nadeem was kind enough to provide explanations on the different offerings available, how to prepare them, and what he recommended. He was genuine in his approach and I could feel that he was passionate about providing quality items to the Muslim community.Looking forward to coming back to this store in the future. Highly recommend dropping by this place if you're looking for some quality meat items.

Wow never seen a butcher store like this before, this place is beautiful and the products are soo good. I don't think there is another halal butcher shop like this anywhere in the world. My kids love the Hot dogs, beef Pep sticks and Jamaican beef patties and I always get the Organic chicken family pack. If you havent been, its a must just to experience it.

The branding is better than the prices. $28.99/lb is fine if the strip steak marbling is as Prime as advertised, but terrible if all you're getting is AAA. And all you're getting is AAA. Using pictures of stunning Prime steaks to advertise AAA cuts is incredibly misleading, and anyone running a butcher shop knows it.No pork. If you want to have a religious butcher shop, great, but having no indication to the public that a place called Meathead" ignores much of the tastiest meat just wastes our time."

It's a small store. Not a lot of good choice cuts. If you're looking to eat healthy, then this is not the place for you. The meat are all frozen without packaging date, so you don't really know how fresh the meat is and how long they've been on display. That's a red flag. Not good for carnivore dieters. Customer service is awful. No one greeted me when I entered the store. When the staff finally showed up, still did not say a word until I asked questions. Not a trace of smile on the face. Very unenthusiastic. There was only one staff and the person was not really knowledgeable about the products and sources. The beef are not locally sourced. I bought some products to test. Really, really disappointed. Will never go back and will not recommend to others.

Just came into this store for the first time and thoroughly surprised how awesome it is. I had driven by a few times but finally decided to step inside. Really love the frozen butcher concept so much that I decided to review it (I'm not really a review person haha). The girl at the front was friendly and helped me pick some breakfast items, some beef jerky and a couple of wagyu picanha steaks. The Jerky is fire, way better than what I normally get at the gas station. Will try the rest of it out and update.

I was surprised to learn that a Meathead store had opened in Mississauga, after being a patron of the Scarborough store I had really high hopes.This store maintains the same level of aesthetic and excellence with a wide selection of high quality halal meats, including different cuts of halal Wagyu, all of this helmed by the friendly owner Nadeem, who’s knowledge and expertise showed that this is not just a business for him but a passion. The Wagyu ribeye I tried was extremely tender and marbled well, will definitely be back for more.Recommend this store to any pit master, weekend warrior, foodie, or anyone who appreciates high quality halal meat at very reasonable prices.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and great selection. I was in Mississauga and heard so many great things about this place that I had to stop by. Its really unbelievable to see such a butcher shop in the Halal space. Got a few products to try and the options are so unique in the halal market. The prices are a little high but you truly get what you pay for, totally premium stuff. I've already finished one pack of the Habanero jerky and its absolutely fire. Will update when I've tried the rest.

As the variety is endless from marinated meats, burgers, deli meats & poultry toprepared foods.You can shop in store or online for pickup or delivery.Highly recommended for the quality, reliability & variety, you won’t find elsewhere.
