Took 2 days of calling to finally get through, then I was promptly hung up on after letting me know they could not pick me up

Fast, friendly service. Don’t be discouraged by some of the odd reviews! Two trips in a row, waited only 2 minutes each time.

Really appreciated the driver that took my folks to the airport. Only driver on staff this evening (not sure why?) But told them a 40 minute wait and pulled through. Fare was reasonable and cheaper than the taxi that picked them up from the airport the way into town. Thanks for helping make the trip home smooth!

If I could give it negative stars I would!! Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. Phoned yesterday to schedule a pick up time for today and the cab was a no show. When I called they said it wasn't entered.I cannot wait til we get Uber on the penninsula . I'm sure they will be better.

On May 2, the cab driver of car #007 flipped me off after pulling out in front of me without looking and/or stopping at the stop sign. If this is how this guy behaves when he's in a company car, imagine what he does when he's in his own vehicle. Extremely unprofessional.

I called Sydney taxi this morning because I needed a boost in my driveway in Deep Cove. I was in need of a boost at 6:20 I got on the phone with the dispatch who was driving. He said he would check for a booster pack or cables and call me back. He called back as soon as he parked and was able to check and said he would come to my place for a reasonable fee. He arrived about 10 minutes later and we boosted my car. I still had time to drive to Swartz Bay and catch the ferry to Salt Spring at 7 AM. I arrived at 6:50 caught the ferry and was able to carry on to my workday. The timely service was much appreciated. I will call Sydney taxi again.

Terrible. I call, they answer. I arrange a ride, and told 25 minutes until the driver is here. I wait 39minutes (want to be very specific here), and is told that it will be a bit longer... his current customer changed their drop off location. He couldn't find my number. What a crock of $#!T. This was, and will be my only attempt with this company.

Ive been in the service industry for over 30 years. Phoned Sidney taxi to get to work as my car is in the shop. Lady who answered was on speaker phone making a huge commotion banging and stuff and I told her several times I was having difficulty hearing what she was saying. After yelling all her questions at me she told me she would arrive in 5 mins. I explained I did not need to be picked up for another 45 mins. She disappeared speaking to someone in the room, never came back to the phone and after a while I hung up, hoping (!?) I would have a ride. They never showed and I had to call a friend. I was late to work. I wonder if I can send them an invoice for my lost income....?

Trash. Didn’t answer the phone when we called multiple times for a ride in Sidney. Also we booked a taxi to the airport for a flight and it didn’t show up on time at all!! It never showed up. We ended up taking another cab company.

Had a great experience with Sidney Taxi. Arrived on time to pick us up to drop us at the airport, with a smooth trip. We unfortunately forgot our booster in the taxi, but after contacting the cab company, they were able to drop the seat at the airport. Had mandatory mask rules, which surprised us but were easy to accomodate. Would have been good to have known about it in advance though.
