Wonderfully delicious food. We had the prime rib. It was far better than a famous chain steakhouse offers. Everything from the Yorkshire pudding to the gravy was top notch. A beautifully prepared 12 oz serving with scrumptious veggies.The beet and goat cheese salad was very generous and delicious down to the bottom of the plate.We will definitely go again!

The exterior is rather unique for a steakhouse and later found out the place used to be an old school that they had just retained. The interior of this place is cozy and has a warm ambience. I started off with a caesar salad for my appetizer which was fresh, crunchy, and nicely seasoned. I chose 2 mains because the lobster linguini really caught my eye and it did not disappoint. My steak was the most perfectly cooked medium rare steak I have had in a while and to top it off, the service was impeccable and the servers here were very friendly and attentive. Highly recommend and definitely loved my dining experience here!

Love the atmosphere, calm, sophisticated, and not noisy. Not too many places like this in Toronto in this neighborhood.Excellent food and services. Price is reasonable for what you get.

Lots of school character, gives u that feeling as if your eating at the house of the Adams family. Very traditional style, staff was nice. Great if your looking for something old school style. Nevertheless still one of Markhams finest dining.

We attended a wedding and reception at The School and were greeted by Peter who was very gracious and accommodating.We had grilled chicken and vegetables which were cooked to perfection. My wife requested for salmon to be cooked without oil which they happily did, they were very accommodating.The blueberry cheesecake and tiramisu were delicious, and coffee was fresh brewed and quite good.On leaving, Peter helped us which where to park car for ease of access to accommodate crutches. 11/10 food and service, highly recommended! My partner was craving for some steak hence we went to the School as this establishement is one of the top rated in Markham.We came on a snowy day therefore the whole establishment was pretty quiet and we were seated right away. Atmosphere was excently mixed between old-school and modern decor. It is superb for a steakhouse.The server was very attentive, polite and pro-active. No complain there.We ordered and 12oz striploin and 10oz filet mignon at a very reasonable price (compare to other fine dining) and they were delicious.

We had our wedding at The School and could not have been more thrilled with our choice. Food and service were absolutely perfect. Peter went above and beyond to make our experience 10/10. Dietary restrictions were all met and all guests were raving abut how delicious the offerings were. The room was beautiful and the perfect setting for our special day.

Good place for a couple and friends to dine in. Place has an Irish pub vibe in it. All the dishes on the menu were great. A must try dish is the Tirimasu cake, which is out of the world. I also liked the grilled salmon with salad which was very good. This is a place where you want to visit again.

Had an exquisite time at my brother’s wedding. Everything was perfect. The food was truly incredible and the service exceptional. Looking forward to another wonderful dinner soon.
