Great selection and a nice little place for all your video game needs. I can't say if the prices were just or over market value, but I got what I was looking for. Would recommend.

The staff was super friendly, walked in on the 27th of December (the store and staff were noticeably busy). Asked them to change batteries for four gameboy games which were done within 30 minutes. Can’t wait to come back, such a cool store!

Bought an N64 and one game for it. Price was good and the machine works well. However, I had to clean the jumper pack with alcohol for it to work properly because it would randomly shut off often while I was playing but it stopped doing this after cleaning.

Great store, super friendly and helpful team. Loads of retro games across all consoles to choose from at very competitive prices. I picked up a NES light gun, a few Game Gear games and some NES games.

purchased a game online, and choose the pick up option. when i went to pick up the game, they tried to charge me an extra 10$ for a game i had already purchased, The website still has the price listed that i had paid for so the upcharge is confusing. I gave the man working the store 15+ minutes to try and figure it out and refused to help in any way. first and last time going to this store

Great retro gaming store in Montreal, covering games from most generations in a convenient location, close to subway and buses. Not only mainstream North American consoles and games, but as well Japanese imports and summer exotic systems, such as the Neo Geo Color. Only drawback for the store is that most of the stock is behind the counter, and it's hard to see the titles of you're browsing to see if something catches your attention. One nice touch is that for a Dreamcast Japanese game I ended up buying, they send a boot CD alongside the game, which is nice for newcomers that are starting out a collection of imports. Everything has clear prices, so none is going to try to gauge how much you can pay when you ask for a price. In terms of the actual prices, they're aligned to what you'd see on eBay minus shipping, so fair prices, but nothing extraordinary. Well worth a visit, for both newcomers and seasoned retro games collectors. Bonus: they have a true Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 4 player arcade game, which is a nice touch.

Have been shopping online with RetroMTL for about a year and I’ve had nothing but positive experiences. Products are always functional and working, for the most part what you see on the website reflects what you get condition-wise, and their customer service email is fast in responding and resolving situations. Overall I’ve had nothing but pleasant experiences with them and will continue to buy from them. Would recommend any video game enthusiast to shop with them.
