Food was decent. Price was good for the portion. BYOB. What more can you ask for. Parking is quite hard to find though. Family-run place. Give it a shot. Once in a while is OK.

I wanted to like this place so bad but the food was terrible (very basic, little effort) and the service was nothing to write home about. It’s honestly a waste of money to eat here. The “cajun” sauce was watered down and the beef was chewy and cheap. The salad was basic and the pita chips and dip was subpar.

Owner is not responsive, you cannot even call them as the call doesn't go through. I asked them for opening hours on messenger and planned my trip to Montreal accordingly so that I can make it there to satisfy my craving of Mauritian food. However, they were not open on the day that they told me they would be. There was no sign on the door nor on social media to reflect that. There was absolutely no way to contact them. I also placed an order on SkipTheDishes, but that order didn't go through and I am still waiting to get refunded for that. Owner was not in the least bit apologetic when I let them know this. I didn't get to eat there, so cannot comment on food. Very disappointed.

The restaurant was quiet when we arrived. In our group, there was an individual that was a picky eater. The chef prepared a dish just for her that was simple and a generous portion. The other dishes were also generous portions. The server was very very nice.

Just changed management, give the new owner a chance. He just opened a Sunday night for us and did all the cooking and serving; since it's hard to find employees these days.The food is awesome and delicious, and at a very good price.Vient de changer de direction, donnez une chance au coureur. Les plats sont délicieux, et à un excellent prix pour la portion.

Loved it. The service was a little slow because the man is alone, but the food makes up for it. The veggie plate is huge. The octopus portion a little small but still delicious. The chips and 4 dips included in the beginning are really tasty. Must try the creole sauce for your meal, absolutely incredible.

Great food and ambiance! You can choose the type of sauce you would like, they offer a good range of options, dish comes with appetizers, soup, salad and main dish for an affordable price. Staff is courteous and professional. I greatly recommend this place.

I really like the attitude of the owner, Benoit, and the people he employs, but they could take service more seriously. The dining experience was awkward throughout. Our server was very nice but took quite some time to take our order. There were people that entered midway through our meal and started hanging about the restaurant. It was unclear whether they were patrons, staff or friends of the employer. It was a bit surprising when one of them began clearing our table after we ate. Just a very informal dining experience overall. There was no menu, only a prix fix dinner. I really did like the tropical soup however. My main course wasn't that impressive. The sauce was the best part but the cut of beef was tough, a mid-tier cut of meat like that didn't feel fit for what I paid.
