I come to canmore twice a year for holidays. We usually come here for some fruit and snacks. The cashier was extremely rude. Purple hair and glasses. Once I asked for the manager she cheered up immediately. This person should not be working with customers. Put her in the deli or produce. I will not be returning. I'll just go to Safeway.

Excellent location and the store was kept bright, clean and well-organized. A friend who was with us commented on how friendly the overall atmosphere was. Also happy to see Save-On is keeping the prices here low and in line with their other locations despite the more touristy locale. If you’re here in the evening you’ll also get to catch the sunset over the parking lot.

They have a Poke bar!! Their Seafood Deli is amazing and every Save On should do this.

Loved to shop here. But since they made this 1.5 hr parking lot, its disaster. My wife is pregnant and she been sending me 6 times to shop and 5 times i had to park car far away, as it doesnt allow to park u nore than once. Giving one star untill they come with solutions

Save on foods in Canmore can be a zoo on the first Tuesday of the month when purchases over $50 receive a 15% discount, so be prepared for lineups at checkout. The staff are always helpful. The pharmacy and pharmacists are THE BEST I've ever dealt with.

Had a very unpleasant cashier (older lady with glasses and a mermaid facemask) She refused to search for a code for a bakery item and expected us to walk back to the bakery to get it. We declined the 2 scones and when asked for our save on card, she claimed she wasn't able to scan it from a phone or she would get fired. Seems unlikely as this has never been a problem in the past, however, she scanned the house card. After a very pleasant experience at the butcher counter, it was surprising to receive such poor customer service at the check out. Safeway had no trouble scanning our rewards card and sold us some scones. Next time, we'll just go there instead.

I had a wonderful experience shopping here. Sierra (cashier) was extremely friendly and had great manners! She also didn’t hesitate to engage into conversation when I was at checkout. I will definitely continue to come here for her!

What a wonderful guy. Jeff the store manager is a star. No English Dinner Ssusages on the shelves so Jeff went routing out back and found some. Just eaten them, they were delicious. Thanks Jeff you made 3 Brits very happy.

Convenient stop over point in Canmore on the way to Banf from Calgary. They have good produce and beautiful boquets.

I will start by saying the 5 star rating is for Christa, at the customer service desk not for the store or the rest of the staff. In fact the service was disappointing.The store displays sale prices on many items, however these are only for customers with a loyalty card. For an out-of-town/province visitor this is unusual and not expected. We only learned at checkout about the sale prices requiring the loyalty card. Since we didn't have one we overpaid $30. The cashier did not offer us a loyalty card.We left one bag of groceries behind (our fault)...food worth about $40. I returned next day, at 7am to see if the staff found our groceries. Two associates looked in a file and said there is nothing about my left-behind-groceries. I even pointed to a hand written note in the file, showing one of the items from the bag I left. They said it was not mine.I returned in the evening and talked to Christa at the cust. service desk. She found the note about my groceries immediately, it was exactly what I pointed out to the associates in the morning. Christa helped me get the items I left behind. Christa also noticed that I overpaid $30 since I didn't have a loyalty card and indicated that the cashier should have offered one. Christa offered me the membership card and made things right.Amazing service by Christa, disappointing service by other staffers and equally disappointing store practice on merchandise pricing.
