EQ3 Montréal - St Laurent

I never leave any reviews, but the customer service is terrible! I bought a dining table, and they were supposed to deliver it on a specific day so I took the day off to make sure I was present for the delivery. They had the wrong address and when I realized the mistake they made I called the store to rectify. The guy that answered simply said: there’s no way for me to call the entrepôt, as we do not have any number to contact the delivery guys… they refused to do anything and simply said they’re not responsible! When I called to have a refund for the delivery they said it was not possible even though they made a mistake and made me miss a day of work. They are extremely rude and they offer no assistance whatsoever

My wife and I dealt with Marlond this week regarding purchasing a dining room table. We both agree that his service was one of the best that we ever had, anywhere. He is very knowledgeable about the products and was extremely helpful. He was courteous and professional and showed that he was genuinely interested in helping us. We have nothing but good things to say about his service and he is one of the reasons why we decided to come back and finalize our purchase. On a scale of 1 to 10 his service was a 20! Looking forward to dealing with him again in the future.

Went on a Saturday about an hour prior to close. Had done most of my research via the website, so had narrowed the choices already and wanted to see fabric choices in person and try out the models. Was happy to try out both models in person, and Raphaël helped to narrow down the fabric colour options. Could have done with more staff on the upper floor, only two people, often just one, so a bit difficult to get help, and there were far more staff on the main floor, some just wandering around by the looks of it. One star removed for lack of greeting by anyone and the fact we had to search out help ourselves and then wait for it.

Looks good and inexpensive but.... The sofas Quality is very BAD. I bought 4 sofas over 5 years at EQ3 and the Problem is that the foam Quality of the cushions (seat and back) is really terrible. Very cheap. After a year you Will want to throw it away even if you did not use the sofa regularly and are not overweight. It gets Very uncomfortable as the foam gets very thin. It is a pity because the design and Choice of fabrics are appealing. Customer service at EQ3 advised me to shake the cushions everyday, but it makes not difference. Such a waste. EQ3 should use cushion material that is more sustainable!

We went there and we can see the quality of the sofas etc… are good and seem to hold in the long term. However, very very expensive, you can go to 7k for a sofa and plus there is no reason to buy in store and in person, the personal doesn’t negotiate at all. We had an unpleasant experience since when trying to negotiate, the seller just told us anyway they sell enough in the world so No need for them to negotiate. Very very bad behaviour, test in store and order online.

Jason is phenomenal to work with at this store. He is knowledgeable, friendly, professional but also fun. He consulted with us to find the best options, sizes and colors for our place. He was patient and attentive (even after we changed our minds a few times!). We felt very comfortable with him, never felt any pressure to buy. He also followed up with us proactively several times by phone after we purchased, to ensure our items would be delivered on time since he knew how important it was to us. We purchased the Cello bed and Cello sofa canapé and Novah standing desk. Had to return the Novah desk due to an issue with the lift mechanism during installation but the return was hassle-free. We are super happy with the furniture and highly recommend!!!

Purchased a lovely ottoman at this store. Jason (Sano) was very helpful in assisting me with the various choices, prices and fabrics. Once the choices were narrowed down, he gave me fabric samples to take home to finalize my decision. Very impressed with his overall friendly and professional service. Thank you, Jason!

I had a great experience with the staff in sales and with the designer. Flexible, attentive to my needs, not pushy, and very kind to me and my dog. I felt I was a welcomed guest in the store. Highly satisfied withe service so far and I look forward to the delivery of my new furnitures.

I just wanted to share a quick review and testimonial for Eq3. I tried out some Herman Miller chairs over there. The staff was very helpful, giving good guidance on when they are all available at the store, then looking up shipping price and walking me through the process prior to checkout. I expect you'll get quality customer service once you actually buy your items too

Better than Ikea, without a doubt. Prices are also way higher, as expected. I did not buy anything, so I can't talk about the quality. I was a little bit disappointed in the selection, not as many products as I had thought.
