Steer clear of this facility! I had a horrendous experience with Great West Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler that I feel compelled to share. I brought my 2015 Dodge Ram 2500 to this facility for rear suspension servicing, specifically nitrogen refilling. However, things quickly went downhill. The service advisor, Dan Saunders, called me and informed me that an airbag needed replacement. After a confusing discussion, it was determined that it was the alternate side that required attention, not the new airbag installed stated to Dan. We agreed on the repair cost, and the work began on December 20th. Due to a heavy workload and harsh weather conditions, I was asked to pick up the truck on December 28th. I requested to keep the replaced airbag to examine it, but upon receiving my truck, I discovered that the new airbag had been replaced instead. When I confronted Dan about this, he suggested I go back to the original installation facility for warranty coverage and potentially labor reimbursement. Confused I agree and head out to leave but both batteries were completely drained when I entered my truck. Even worse, the suspension system warning light remained illuminated. I returned to discuss the issue with Dan, who finally had a technician perform a diagnostic scan. However, I questioned why the suspension problem wasn't thoroughly examined earlier. Dan claimed that I never explicitly requested it to be fixed which was confusing because they did call to update me and have me install a new airbag. Desperate for a resolution, I sought to speak with the service manager, but was told he was unavailable. I was given the contact information of David Elgie (the service manager). During our conversation, David dismissed my concerns, stating that I should have taken my truck elsewhere for service and that they did not want to work on it, despite their specialisation in Mopar and Dodge vehicles. Feeling helpless, I decided to seek warranty coverage and further repairs elsewhere, as I no longer trusted this facility. When I contacted Mopar customer service and my previous repair shop, I learned that the dealership should not have directed me elsewhere for warranty claims. They clarified that as the point of installation, the dealership should have addressed the part failure themselves. The situation had become excessively stressful, time-consuming, and financially burdensome, leaving me with a deep dissatisfaction towards the service center and its advisors. Regrettably, I had to return to the facility to address the parts warranty issue. I encountered Dan, who appeared overwhelmed with multiple tasks, causing me to wait for about 30 minutes before being able to speak with him. During our discussion, Dan seemed to have a limited recollection of the situation and attempted to discourage further pursuit. He later claimed that the airbag must have been incorrectly installed, thereby voiding any warranty coverage. THIS IS NOT WHAT I WAS TOLD OR SIGNED OFF ON IN MY PREVIOUS INVOICE. Unsatisfied with this response, I joined Dan in a meeting with David Elgie in his dimly lit office. As we discussed the matter, David shifted blame to the previous repair facility, alleging improper airbag installation, and adamantly refused any warranty coverage. He failed to provide a valid explanation as to why they directed me to the previous facility. Given these circumstances, I strongly advise against seeking any services at this facility! In summary, my experience with Great West Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler was an absolute nightmare. The incompetence, lack of accountability, and dismissive attitude displayed by the staff, especially Dan Saunders and David Elgie, have left me deeply dissatisfied. Spare yourself the stress and avoid this facility at all costs!
