That feeling when someone stops you and says can I take a picture of your haircut?! I just love it!!" That is what happens to me since I have been getting my hair cut regularly at Headlines. The staff are top-notch and the environment is so welcoming. I know the staff keep up and continue with building their knowledge base

I feel very comfortable every time I come in. I love that now we have two hour park validation, yeah! Alex is lovely as always, great head massage, great sense of style. She has been an apprentice for the last year, I feel privileged to witness her growth in the industry. She has developed great skills and I trust her to cut and colour my hair anytime. I know how skeptical we all are about trusting apprentices, however she has demonstrated confidence, growth, a great sense of care and pride the way she treats a client. I will keep on coming back to see Alex, can’t wait for my next visit! I also love the delicious tea!

Got an intermediate stylist - Krista - and she did a great job.with my trim. Bonus marks for not scoffing at my home colouring job like most stylists do (sorry, guys: I can't afford a salon colour every 10 days, and you're not going to upsell me by making me feel bad about it!) The aesthetician was honest that my very faint lip hair is really not an issue, so I got a brow wax instead, and it was extremely gentle. This isn't a bargain-basement salon, more mid-range, and quite fair for what you're getting.

Amazing service, fair prices and they stand by their work. Owner is super personable and gave me a call when I had mentioned I was a bit unhappy with a final toner of my mega needy Silver hair. They fixed it for free and continue to help me towards my goals of getting that final perfect and sought after Silver look I’m dying after.The staff are amazing from reception to stylists to owners, the nicest and most enjoyable salon in the city I’ve found.I’ve been a bit of a high maintenance customer to the salon but they are yet to bar the doors and kick me out lol.James and Lui are amazing stylists that have helped me through this journey in a way other salons wouldn’t have dared touch (brown to silver).Michael the owner is kind and understanding. He helped develop a game plan to work as a team with his stylists to help me get that silver hair look while still making sure to maintain my hair integrity. I’ve never had a salon Owner not get mad/prissy when I may have to ask for a re-touch, until now, and then actually, too, suggest a great way to make my crazy silver dreams happen next time I come back lol. Great management style and I appreciate the amount of time he gave me to speak my concerns out with him on the phone.Thanks guys for being so understanding and always amazing and positive. Worth every penny and I’d tip you all more than the 25% if I could hahaDefinitely the salon you should be going to and ignore the negative reviews. I’ve never had a better experience with a salon being willing to work with me when things didn’t pan out perfect with the hair chemistry.

Would highly recommend. James was my hairdresser and he was wonderful. Great conversation and gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time.

I've been getting my hair cut by their stylists since 2016. Their space is a beautiful oasis in Manulife Place and takes you away from the downtown concrete jungle. Who doesn't want to escape monotonous meetings and get pampered?It's immensely difficult to find a high tier quality customer service in Edmonton that consistently delivers. The growing team at Headlines is the one salon and spa I will consistently visit because I'm treated like I'm their only client. Their attention to detail is fabulous. I'm given an experience that helps me relax, decompress, and feel amazing as I get my hair cut. Thank you to Girlie, Jen, Sandra, Coulton, and of course Michael for your top notch service. You've set the standard so damn high. Wow!

I had my hair done by James,he was awesome. He did an amazing, job on my hair. I was pampered lots too. There is safety measures in place,so you don't have to worry about that. I would definitely recommend hairlines,and james. You won't be disappointed.

An unused gift card brought me back to Headlines and whilst the products and my experience has always been positive, this time it was different. I felt rushed presumably as stylist running late. As well, no hospitality service whilst I waited and being frugal with the current economic squeeze, the charge for a simple cut and dry for long hair is exorbitant @ ~ $70Michael kindly called me and accepted constructive feedback on the services offered at Headlines and overall this is an excelled salon.
