Forensic Psychiatric Hospital

Somewhat typical abusive and unaccountable psychiatric facility (or, arguably, for the most part, a prison masquerading as a mental hospital).They occasionally hold people in bare solitary confinement rooms for months or years straight (besides the occasional short trip out, generally for a shower)—destroying peoples' mental health. Facilities like this often diminish their patients' ability to function (and increase their dependence on others) and should be shut down.Psychiatrist Miroslava Stingu-Baxter, who I have never dealt with, is seen by many patients and staff as abusive—yet remains employed and enabled by Colony Farm management and CPSBC.

Largest WorksafeBC fine in history of $650,000 in 2019, $75,000 fine in 2016, $15,000 fine in 2014. 200 escapes from 2009-2014. Hundreds more from 2014 to present. This facility is a waste of tax payers money and an embarrassment. You could not pay me to live around that Gong Show, not hard to find hundreds of ex employees who have horrific experiences from working at this so called facility. It’s time the public stands up to this nonsense.

Trash facility. Dangerous people escape from here all the time. Don't know how or why but very dangerous.

Hospital for the criminally insane they went to the point of having a meal nurse sponge bath me to the point of feeling so disgusting and there was nothing I could do to talk him out of it there for the weekend or the worst weekend I felt like a year

They can’t keep their patients in the facility…every two months the neighbourhood gets a BOLO notice because someone has escaped, again. I can’t imagine the negligence that happens here.
