Trapped Escape Room Calgary

my friends and i braved the jack the ripper room at trapped for the first time, and it was such a wonderful experience!! everything was so well organized and well thought out and the whole staff was a pleasure and very helpful !! the room itself was just the right amount of challenge throughout the horror and chaos, with an amazingly detailed set that helped immerse you in the experience !! a special shout out to our game master Kate who was the absolute best and made the experience just that much better! she was extremely friendly, kind and so much fun to be around ! we all had a blast and got our pants scared off of us but we will 100% be back again and can’t wait to try out the other rooms !! thank you trapped staff for the fun experience !!

I’ve now been here four time over the years doing four different themes - they have all been amazing.They say premium and they mean it. The stories, the puzzles, the interactivity. Everything in these escape rooms makes it just the right amount of challenging without sacrificing fun.Staff has always been amazing here, giving extra time or extra hints if need be. My girlfriend and I were even allowed a walk-in one time, given a room meant for 3+ persons to just the two of us.Will definitely be coming back here, no doubt about it. Just completed our first escape room at Trapped and couldn't recommend it more! The Chaos Effect room was challenging but incredibly unique, while still being solvable (we successfully beat it)! Our game master, Brooke was an absolute delight and made our experience a fantastic time for our whole group. Can't wait to go back!

One of the best escape rooms in the city! We tried the Chaos Effect room, not too hard but also not easy. Great for 4 or more players! All staff were amazing and really good actors! We also had a ‘halftime shots’ to improve our logical thinking (it didn’t).Trapped has a lot of rooms available, bar drinks, snacks, board games and function room for corporate parties. Only problem we had was the parking. But we expected that on a Friday night at Kensington.Definitely coming back!

Kate was awesome! Me and my friend came to play some board games and he answered questions, was very helpful and outgoing. We will definitely be back to do an escape room soon. Thank you Kate for your outstanding customer service!! Give this man a raise.

It's my first time here, and it's such a great place for recreation, community, team building and fun. Amazing workers, beautiful environment, different discovery rooms and exquisite place to eat and drink.

Been here with friends twice now and really enjoyed the rooms we did, which were Room 057 and Jack the Ripper. The environment and setup of the rooms created suspense and were unique to their own theme. The staff was very friendly each time when briefing us on the rooms and rules, especially Karan, whose enthusiasm made our experience memorable.

I've been to a number of different escape room places around Alberta and BC and this one is the best one I've found thus far. Incredibly well managed and organized. Super clean (a common issue I've notices with some places). Super passionate staff make the experience that much better, and some of the rooms are just so creative it's awesome. A little more expensive than some other escape room options, but I would say it is worth it.

Had a fantastic time in the room 057" themed room

The staff was super nice when we went, but I was a bit disappointed with our experience when we went last month. My friends and I were running a bit late due to traffic, and I had called them to let them know ahead of time, and they were really nice about it. I understand that us being late would cut into our time to complete the room if there was another booking after us, but no one had mentioned it to us when we got there or even while they were explaining the room to us.I get that giving a whole background story to the room is part of the experience, but the guy spent a good 10-15 minutes just talking to us when he could have shortened it and let us start the room right away. Halfway through the room, we were told we had about 15 minutes left, so we had to get someone to help us finish it as quickly as possible.Otherwise, we did Jack the Ripper, and the room itself is pretty interesting. If you are into horror and don't get scared easily, then I recommend trying this room. Pretty much all the escape rooms have a similar theme of horror/suspenseful type at Trapped. They are also on the higher side with the price, so I just felt like it wasn't totally worth it given the situation. It was our fault for not arriving earlier, but a lot of our time was also unnecessarily wasted without us even knowing about it.
