Play N Trade

So I broke my PS4 my bad but I brought it to these guys to fix it . 1st time I thought it was good it turned on but there was some bugs ( the sticks lagged) so I brought it back and told them what was going on (they did not tell the tech because when I went to get it same issue. So I bring it back for a 3ed time for the tech to call me ask what's wrong with it ( he was nice )I tell himAnd a few days later I get a message saying I can come get it . Bring it home for it to say it's over heating and turns off after two minutes. I'm bringing it back again I guess hopefully on try 4 they can do it.

It's easy to just show up and clock in at your job. That's why it's refreshing to come into a store were the staff are engaged with the customers and knowledgeable about the products they sell. The staff at this Play N Trade have always been friendly to myself and my kids when I come in and it's always nice to talk to the staff about trends in the industry. Well done everyone!

Prices for used games and consoles are a joke. You get almost nothing in trade. And half the staff have no clue what a video game is let alone if it's a good one.One of the employees tried to sell me an ipod touch 3rd Gen for 60 bucks and then tried to tell me all I have to do is update the software and it will work. HOW dumb can you BE! This thing is a dinosaur. Also when I told him I was a college student with no money he tried to give me a discount so I would still give them money.Despicable company...

Half rating. I bought assassins creed the Americas. Got no receipt plus they ripped off the price tag and bar code. Game doesn't want work. Wow, this place is a rip the off. I got heavy rain at be games with $2.00 more game mess up exchange, for 12.50 cad. Play and trade $12 something before no replace if wrong

The staff I've dealt with before were always kind and helpful, they have a huge selection of new and used games, and they sell older Sega/Nintendo consolesThey almost always have what you're looking for

The girl working on shift seemed more interested in her phone than actually helping customers. I've been to this location two times and nothing but snobby sales rep. They have a good collection of old games but the terrible customer service makes is obvious that this store has poor management. Will not be shopping here again, even Walmart is better than this.

Ok ... here's the truth about this store. It's over priced, the customer service isn't there. They told me that the could repair my Xbox one,and it would take a 3 to 4 days . Well it took over a week. After the 3 to 4 days I called to inquire about it the staff couldn't tell me any information about what was going on. So finally after 8 days I finally get it back and the guy charges me $75 for the repair..... I get it home and guess what to my surprise they didn't fix the goddamn thing .... Oh but he did warranty his work .... BULLSHIT!!! Stay away from this store go anywhere else but here. First thing tomorrow I'm calling the BBB and reporting them for fraudulent business activities.

Not the best place to Pre-Order games from, but you shouldn't be pre-ordering games anyways so that is not really a big concern for me. I like how this store usually carries games that are instantly sold out in other locations. The staff are pretty chill and also like games, so you can talk with them for a bit about a certain title or genre.

There is one employee there who is fantastic, so if you ever go in the evening or late afternoon, the younger guys is the best! However, the reason I have a two star rating. DO NOT PRE ORDER ANYTHING HERE. I've preordered 2 games here now, and I have not once gotten them the day of release. I'm currently still waiting for them to even get copies in for UFC 2 which was released Tuesday, while every other game store in the city already had their copies before the day of release. It's unbelievable.

Location recently changed its name. Final Boss" signs do not say play n trade anymore. Good move the guy working there was really nice and helpful I bought a used controller and I was about to leave and he noticed it had a small smudge on it and he cleaned the whole controller again. Go here! Forget EB games."
