Burnham Family Farm Market

Definitely a popular place as it was busy. Selection of vegetables, fruit and baked goods. When we were leaving, a senior's bag broke and her shopping dropped to the ground including her pie. I went back inside and explained what had happened and they kindly replaced it for the lady at no cost.

Great little farm with a large pumpkin patch and large variety in apples. The lady working the pick-your-own stand was very kind and pleasant to talk to. The market itself has lots of variety and the staff there are helpful and friendly.

Limited availability of produce is probably due to the time of year. The baked goods appeared to be very expensive at $15 for a package of butter tarts. I want to shop local and will try again later in the season.

The produce was plentiful and fresh. I purchased corn pears and tomatoes. I also got Yukon gold potatoes large, crisp and unblemished.I bought a a double crusted apple pie that was delicious and raisin tea biscuits also delicious.A tad pricey but worth it.

On the first leg of our GTA escape we stopped at Burnham's to stock up on baked and fresh delicacies. WOW! We shall return!!!

Great first time client experience. Order online ....it was quick, easy and efficient. When ready for pick up I opted to go into the store and had the opportunity to see other wonderful products. The scones are amazing.... better than the majority I have had at high teas. While it was a very busy weekend ( likel due to Strawberry Picking time) the staff still did a commendable job. Well I don't have children it was nice to see they had fun activities and treats for the kids which was nice but everything wasn't about turning a profit. I would highly recommend trying this establishment..... the Tarts, pies and scones are superior to the others we have tried in the Northumberland area. They have special dietary baked items as weel. FYI they have Kawartha Dairy ice cream and it is by far the cheapest in the surrounding area. Continue success and we look forward to returning when we come back later in the year.
