Johnnys Barber shop is always a great Experience!!I’ve recently starting getting my hair cut by Mark and he does an amazing job every time.He takes his time and makes sure everything is perfect with the haircut, he is very detail oriented with his haircuts.He is also a great person to chat with while you are in his chair which makes for a great experience.I highly recommend him if you are thinking about trying at Johnny’s but honestly the entire staff are great there and you would be in good hands with whoever you choose.

Mitch an excellent barber who has ensured that I've always looked my best over the past year. He's done my hair prior to both job interviews and filmed events and every time I leave looking both professional and stylish. Not only that, but he's incredibly charismatic and takes a genuine interest in the lives of his clients and coworkers. All around an amazing guy and I recommend both him and Johnny's on 11th ave to anyone wanting a high quality cut and great atmosphere.

Best barber shop in town.I recently got a cut from Mark and he absolutely nailed it. I was worried about how my hair would look in an upcoming engagement photoshoot, but Mark knocked it put of the park!I also really enjoyed my time in the chair— Johnny’s has a great vibe and Mark is very personable and easy to talk to.I highly recommend Mark/Johnny’s!

Johnny’s barber+shop is top tier barbering downtown Calgary! My man’s been seeing Ryan for almost 6 months and he knocks it out of the park every time, his detailed line work and clean fades have the mans looking so fresh always! Ryan finishes off his fades with the straight razor and hot towel which adds such a nice touch to his cut and also dramatically reduces his likeliness of ingrown hairs (which he has been prone to in the past.) I have visited many salons and have worked in the industry so I would also like to touch on the friendly demeanours of all the staff and the edgy style of this barbershop. I can’t think of not one bad thing about this shop, so don’t walk, run; that is if you want one the freshest cuts in the city!

Mitch is unreal, every time, an absolute master of his craft. I have known Mitch for a while now and he is easy to talk to and very passionate about his work. Mitch gives the best haircuts I've had in years and gives suggestions on styling based on my needs and recommendations on products.

Mark is the best barber that I have ever had. He is precise and very dedicated in his craft and puts his heart into every single cut. His attention to detail is unmatched. He is versatile, patient and super willing to listen & take on new projects. Not to mention he's one of the best dudes to talk to - always shares the best stories and has an innate ability to forge connections with clients through shared personal interests.The rest of the group are incredible at what they do as well. Everyone is super welcoming, fun and professional. The group really prioritizes hospitality, such as offering drinks while you wait for your cut.The shop itself has a really bright vibe with rich & unique decor.I genuinely look forward to each visit I have, and always walk out with refreshed confidence.

I’ve been seeing Alanna for my hair and beard for the last few years. She has a great eye for detail and I couldn't recommend her any higher. No matter where I move in the city, I still go to her. The shop is friendly and stylish, and who can complain about a craft beer and good conversation while getting your haircut.

Best barbershop in Calgary bar none, these guys are true artisans. Mark’s been taking care of my hair for a while now and has never failed, he goes beyond just cutting what you want and recommends what will work for you. Since I’ve come here my hair has gotten way better, the convenient location after work and a beer while you get your cut makes it all the better.

As someone who had trouble finding a quality barber who understood how to cut stiffer Asian hair, I’m ecstatic to have found a go to barber who is passionate and knowledgeable in all aspects of his craft. He took into account what I envisioned and created a style better than what I had imagined. Mark also does a top notch job at creating an atmosphere that is second to none filled with great conversation. Everytime I’m in the chair, I can relax knowing that I’ll walk out with a fantastic cut.
