Roy from Minit-Tune was amazing! We were on a long trip when our car broke down and he fixed it on the day despite his busy schedule. We cannot thank him enough for the impeccable service and suggestions he gave to us about the car.

I was scheduled to drive through the mountains in 1 day and my car started making a loud noise. Long story short, Roy agreed to look at my car, solved the problem, and I was still able to stay on schedule. So grateful!!!

I wish I could give more than a 5 star rating to Roy!I moved from Kelowna and I was less than stoked to have to find a new mechanic.Roy was awesome to deal with. He's realistic, listens to your concerns and he thoroughly explained my options and the pros and cons of each to me. He was accommodating to me leaving my car for an extra week as I was working out of town, which was super helpful. Roy is also super reasonable with price.

My partner and I were stranded in Salmon Arm back in May and had been having trouble with our 1993 Blazer. A nearby friend recommended we go see Roy at Minit-Tune.He fit us in on short notice and did a host of diagnostics. In the end he said he would install the expensive intake spider if we really wanted, but advised against it.It was so refreshing to have a mechanic be so thorough, so honest, so trustworthy and so very knowledgeable.If we lived in Salmon Arm, he would be our mechanic, hands down.On a very trying journey from Vancouver Island to Alberta rife with natural and human disaster, Roy was like an angel in coveralls!

Roy is absolutely the Best!Really!I totally agree with every positive review on this page.My first visit was impressive.I dropped in on Roy for my initial visit first thing in the morning, as clients were dropping their vehicles of to have work done.I had a seat and waited as Roy had a chat with a few customers regrading the work that was to be done on their vehicle.Listening to the conversations, it was clear that ALL the customers Roy was speaking to were return and/or long time customers.I chuckled to myself as I listened, as each customer sounded like a family member or long time friend.I was immediately confident that Roy was going to be a trustworthy and knowledgeable mechanic.He has now worked on my Truck twice to date.New brakes and also a service job on the engine.The next job on my truck will be new shocks and springs.For me, Roy deserves a '2 thumbs-up' and a 5 star rating!Thanks Roy :-)

I just had the oil change and winter maintenance check with Roy at Minut Tune.I was beyond pleased with his winter special and 20 point inspection, his service and friendliness, and wealth of knowledge! Even more so, his honesty about sticking with reality of the state of my vehicle. I was expecting to told worse about my front brakes but he kept it real.Totally impressed, told all my co-workers already to go see Roy and I will be back to get the other couple things seen to as well!Salmon Arm is lucky to have this gem of mechanical expertise!

Another service provider advised we needed about $2,000 worth of repairs to the brakes on our late model INFINITY. Went to Minut-Tune for a second opinion. After removing all four wheels and inspecting all components Minut-Tune advised all was in good repair and no work was required. Our bill was $0 as they don't charge for diagnostics. We insisted to pay as the Minut-Tune advice was honest and saved us $$. I highly recommend this business.
