The setting for this park has its pluses and minuses. There are beautiful trees and views of downtown. There is 2 hour free parking along the streets at the base.If your dog doesn't have good recall I don't recommend it. It is set on a steep hillside and there a few roadways surrounding the park with no fences. There are also signs warning about coyotes, but that is common in Calgary.My dog has had pretty good interactions with other dogs there.

Best neighbourhood dog park in the inner city! Easy access from the top (St Andrew's Hieghts) the East (just off the bike path where University Drive merges with Crowcild) and to the west (Parkdale United Church parking lot). Has a forested area and shade (at the west end) and almost a km of space end-to-end to walk or run your dog. All natural paths - no concrete.

Lovely park to let your dog's run around and socialize with other friendly dogs and people. Forest area as well as an open grass area to enjoy.
